Battery upgrade? Stock vs 2s - Traxxas mini E-Revo

The Traxxas minni E-Revo has been on our to get list for far too long. Finally, we bit the bullet and bought one... This being its first run we wanted to get a feel for the truck and so tested it in box stock form on the stock nimh battery before swapping over to a 2s lipo... Is this battery upgrade worth it?? We'd say so!

@ first i thought you put a 1s mini crawler battery for a laugh, those NHI batteries want deleted from rc history 😂 once the 2s went in BEAST MODE ACTIVED! 3s will be something else 💪👍

Me him my first RC in 87 ran on 8xAA batteries it lasted about 10-15mins 😂

It seemed alright, from the 11 minutes it was running though we managed a minute or two that was interesting enough to make it into the video... And even at that it's a push😂 2s really woke it up and the run time was incredible in comparison!

I believe it's a 1200 mah, not sure exactly what brand it is but we usually use off brands to avoid the expensive ones needing replacing constantly😅
