So when I first opened my new light, I put the battery in the light and there was no power. I'm guessing they wouldn't have these batteries precharged while sitting on the shelves. My question: I've had my light plugged in charging for an hour now and the red light turns on then off after a few seconds. Still no green light indicating it is charged.

Hi Alex, Sometimes rechargeable batteries will come with some charge from the factory, but usually not very much and they need to be charged. Please let us know if you have any issues after charging!
