I have the smaller radio in a bag and the larger one for home use.

The knife may be a non flipper to allow imports to countries like Canada that for some ridiculous reason banned the import of flippers from other countries, but they are not yet illegal to own or carry. I have had the radio for a couple years now, o do not plan to put it in a bugout bag, but a stay in place one. The antenna allows for greater reception. I live in the woods, and in a valley good reception. It would also work as part of a kit in a car or truck kit.

At this point, I'm expecting "tactical" Xmas stockings, with built-in bottle openers. I swear, they're not so much theming their boxes these days as colour-coordinating them. This one's theme looks to be red and white.

I kinda like the knife but really like the power bank because my last one was stolen. Never leave a bug out or emergancy kit in your car because crooks will break your windows to get it.

Glad i stopped these boxes at beginning of this year, then went to Barrel and Blade until they screwed me on last box. I'm over all these subscription box pos's. But love watching these for pure pleasure. Love the content Doc. 👊💥💥

Doc do you have a FM 21-76? I keep one In my bathroom and flip through regularly. As far as survival goes I'd trust what it says more than I'd trust the "Self sufficient guide. " Just sayin, I'm sure you'd probably agree. And they probably weigh the same in a pack

I love how they JUST came out with their own Chili that is actually pretty good and couldn’t even do up a 72hr “kit” with that and instead chose what ever bulk shit they could get for cheap

I signed up Nov 30 and haven't received anything for November or December. I have wrote to them and called and I haven't got any response. I'm very disappointed with there customer service

If you signed up November 30th and expected a November box...that's probably not very realistic. I haven't gotten my December either yet. I'm hoping to see it this week.

@@DocP91B I understand and agree with you on my time line. The only reason i was questioning it was because thr next payment was December 22 I belive. I thought my purchase was for Nov box and then the next would be December. I don't mind the waiting at all, but not thrilled with no response to some questions from the company. Customer service is important.

I'm curious since Daniel is out of BB, if their products will get better again. The new owner said boxes not made by Daniel will start next year. Also, Daniel did a great job landing the Netflix gig off the backs of their original customer base, then cashing in on all the new Karen customers by providing significantly less value to the customer, but upping their profits drastically, getting outside attention, and selling the business off!

if i had to guess i would say box value will never go up above where it is currently even with new ownership... i doubt they will want less profit to provide more value for their customers, unless they decide to increase pricing, then you could maybe expect a little bit more value, but it still probably wouldnt be what we would consider a fair increase for the increased cost. that just my opinion tho... fingers are definitely crossed that i am wrong

@@christopherpfleegor4447 I would say it will more depend on the relationships the new owner and/or procurement team can foster with businesses. Just because the value goes up for us, doesn't mean it costs BB. They may need someone that is better at getting better deals for what BB is paying. Also, scale can play into that. The company that bought BB I imagine has a much deeper reach than previous ownership. I don't think the quality will ever be what it was 2-3 years ago. I would say of the last 12-16 months though, they've had very little good products in a box. Very happy I didn't drink the cool aid.

I am glad I watched this box is not worth squat, I get TacPak and their DEC box sucked too, seems like since they started their expensive Plus Pak the Standard box has gone down hill.. So far my Steel to Reel boxes have been ok. Dont see battle box in my future, and TacPak is gonna go bye bye. Thanks for the review it helped me make up my mind.

NICE. yet another garbage box from battlbox, i would NEVER spend $120 for that knife, it reminds me of knives you see on the knife ring toss stands at fairs and/or carnivals. the emergency food is always good to have on hand but that is really the only thing i would be even somewhat ok with in this entire box

They haven't messed with Carnivore since they bought it. And BattlBox is under new ownership now too. Boxes are supposed to be changing in January.

Eaton makes crap products.i bought the eaton raptor ten years ago or so and it broke less than six months later. Opened it up and it's tape holding things a crap battery pack and a piece of foiled paper for some reason. Just crap quality.

Wow what a disappointing box for December. Ok the food is good but everything else is overpriced and I really can't believe that the knife is anywhere near as good as a $50 knife from their competitors. The emergency radio is way too large and at least give the option for AA batteries as something because when you go to use it in an emergency that battery will be dead from sitting too long. Keep making sharp things fun and enjoyable

Probably the most disappointing battle box video I’ve ever seen sorry just trying to be truthful but thank you for your video I’d love so many of your videos but one bad one really doesn’t matter because I haven’t seen many more bad ones to this point if any ☘️🇺🇸🤘 The one thing I truly like about your videos is your brutal honesty on things that come in these boxes thank you again for your videos👍
