Or me. I ordered 4 for testing before I sold them. Two I broke with my hands just unlocking it. One I somehow got the lock jammed up with light use. The first version was garbage. Cold Steel customer service told me I had to be lying because their knives are SO strong they would never break like that. Then they changed the design, ha.

I like that gunstock war club of theirs. I have the city stick. I do not think they make it anymore. Very nice. I have tried out a few of their sabers and they are good. Their folding knives are not really my thing, but all of them except this one seem to be built well. Oh, and I have a few of their machetes.

@@Jesses001 I know I'm really late to the party but a good buddy of mine just picked one of those cold steel knives up when he bought out a lot of new-old-stock from a sporting good store that went out of business. How can you tell if you have one of the newer designs? Is there a difference in the locking surfaces?

I would have loved to see some instamorph (or a generic equivalent) in this. It's a plastic that melts at a relatively low temperature. Drop it in some hot water and mold it into whatever part or piece you need to fix. One of my proudest moments as an EDC'er was using it to fix a hopelessly leaky tube on a tubing trip. Saved somebody from having to swim the rest of the way!

In my experience Atwood rope has been very long lasting and surprisingly strong even the smaller size. Their uv stabilized ropes are great, I use micro cord for pool thermometers and they last in the sun and chemicals excellent. I use there tac cord for duck decoys as with great results.

As far as the fiberfix tape I have seen Crazy Russian Hacker fix a shovel that was broken in half and do light digging with it. It could not handle being slammed on the ground but it could keep digging for a bit.

i always liked the fishing battle box was it as far as cool for me... as a matter of fact the foldable spear head was wicked cool.. i thought it was the best as far as fallowing a scheme .. the did a rain one once i always thought an umbrella knife would be cool and fallow the theme but seems like some time the get it and some times it is just close enough...always liked the knifes..but seems like even for this one swiss army or a wicked multi tool would fallow the fix anything theme..or maybe its me,

I also got this box, but on the PRO level. The idea was GREAT! But, all the items are repetitious...... Tape, Tape, Tape, Tape, Glue, Glue, Glue, Thread, Thread, Thread, Thread, Needles, Needles, etc... THEN they throw in the RIPSPOOL which is all of those combined... I dont think there was really any thought put into this box, was basically "Lets have a box with LOTS of stuff in it, so it seems like a great deal"... But, everything they put in the box were the same things, just with different names. This box made me cancel immediately. And dont even get me started on that accident waiting to happen Bushman knife.... Which makes no sense in the box, can get a really decent MULTITOOL for that price they claimed, which would fit better in a "Repair Anything box" Sorry for the rant! But just my 2 cents.
