Nice bag, I like the contents of this one. Always carry a survival type bivy when I go hiking, never know if you might have to stay the night. Backpack looks funky, should do an update on it after some use, would be interesting to see how durable it is!

Dont like the pack. That's just me, cause why not just use foam or whatever is out there for cushioning. In the real world ppl know that with there luck there going to puncture the balloon on that pack. Then what are you going to do!? Dont need that extra stress if I'm camping/ hiking. Your just adding an extra thing to worry about... just not for me. This is only my opinion take it or leave it no one cares. Stay true on your new year. God bless. Love this channel long time sub. That knife is perfect for detail work in wood carvings. You want something hefty with a strong blade with a full tang. Put it to the side just for wood craft and you will not be disappointed and also have less injuries! John

U know nowadays when we talk about sustainability and over-consuming.. this monthly subscription format kinda feels dumb. There is always some gear you dont use and they just end up useless

Yeah. Never thought about that in that way before. I think most of them are either totally worthless, or a waste of money, because I can just spend $50 on the one thing I actually want instead of handing it to a company that sends me stuff that I may or may not want. I think the biggest issue with plastics in the environment (which I dont think is the biggest issue by a large margin) is that manufacturers put so many little bits and pieces in their packaging. Take that knife, nice cardboard box, nice sheath, worthless plastic bag between them. Not to mention those cut stop kits and the tourniquet, which had way more packaging than needed.

@@JonnyParker- how is it a ripoff? If the box costs 150 dollars and you get at least 200 dollars of stuff in them that is not a rip off. On the card they say how much stuff would cost if you bought it piece by piece. so by buying a box you are saving money. Also it lets you experiment with different gear that you might not have known about.

Just because I think its worthless does not mean you have to. Dont believe everything you see and that goes for what I say also.
