this is a reference to a anime called kill la kill. Character's name is Satsuki Kiryuin. Watch the recall animation carefully the stance that she makes is a really dope reference to the Satsuki's signature stance in the anime where she strikes her sword (in caitlyn's case her gun) to the ground and looks down on you from a high place.

This particular skin is OP for Caitlyn. As far as I know, this is the only skin where the W animation for Caitlyn does not make her kneel or go low. Hence, it's not immediately or as obvious when she lays traps especially on low elo. Honestly, my favorite Caitlyn skin is Pool Party, but I had to switch to Battle Academia as my main Caitlyn skin because I have more success trapping enemies on the bush because in the Pool Party skin, she kneels down low, so it's obvious to the enemy when I lay traps! Battle Academia's animation negates that as she basically just moves her hand to lay a trap.

It is called exaggeration where you bend certain body parts to make a certain actions more clearer to it's audience and Also this skinlines is heavily inspired from anime culture where it's notorious for their over the top tropes and ridiculous pose ( looks at jojo) if you don't like this skins because of its Goofyness then maybe you should just buy the pulsefire caitlynn instead

I like that the chibi emotes change with the chromas but I was expecting a little more from this skin when I heard that the gun transforms when you complete items. I think it is missing something. Like maybe if her ult or her Q or passive upgraded slightly in how it looked when your gun upgrades. That would've been so cool. Battle Queen Katarina was a tough act to follow because she got six dagger designs which changed how all her abilities looked. Also the anime animation during her ult needs to last longer...
