From the cinematography to the costumes to the music to the badass axe, this was one of the coolest maker videos we've seen 👏👏👏

i'll bet if it featured a cat then it would be your MOST FAVOURITE video ever 😉

I've never seen Game of Thrones nor heard the music, but THAT was awesome. The music, what you did. . . deconstructing and re-performing with all three instruments!? WOW. . . it told the story. No words necessary. The battle axe is beautiful!

Jessie, this is so much more than a make video. This is a story, this is a tale. There's an emotional connection with the characters you play and the quest to create the piece. Just exceptional story telling. Keep playing with that idea. Thank you.

Not only is the battle ax amazing, but the way you filmed its creation is equally beautiful. Superb, Jess.

That is one heck of an amazing axe you've got there! With a wonderful video to match! I'm going to guess you had juuust a few hours' worth of grinding there. But it was totally worth it. Usage of under-leg-angle-grinder-combined-foot-clamp is 5/5. And the music is fantastic!! And the costume. And metal sparks. And the Mysterious Valyrian. Definitely a win all around!!
@ijessup5 жыл бұрын
that shot of the under-leg-angle-grinder-combined-foot-clamp was completely unnecessary to how but it was one of my favourite shots. i love that you love it

@@ijessup It's totally not unnecessary if it's one of your favorites! I love that you love that I....something. Yay!
@BrothersMake5 жыл бұрын
I’m not sure what the best bit about this video is.. the music, the axe, the smile on the mountains face, or the face that your mysterious valyrian boots have different coloured laces. What am I kidding, of course it’s the laces 😁
@ijessup5 жыл бұрын
obviously, it's all about the laces. she's not actually magic. it's ALL about the magical, mystical laces

Wonderful! :-D The music was beautiful, no butchery to be found there! The axe came out great - I love how you used just the angle grinder for the majority of the build. I thought for sure that you would have cut out those binding plates on the bandsaw, but you play the angle grinder as gracefully as the violin. Well done!

haha! these days i seem to play the angle grinder better then the violin!
