Do NOT miss the chance to see Battlebeast live if you can possibly help it. Noora has incredible energy and stage presence! They opened for Kamelot, but I would have gone home intensely happy after just seeing Battlebeast.

I just went to this big festival in São Paulo a few weeks back - their brazillian debut! - Anthrax, Mercyfull Fate, Killswitch engage, Death Angel... I went for Battle Beast and, if I had gone home afterwards, I would still have seen the best performance of the day.

I saw them on their recentish american tour, and oh boy oh man my socks were fucking rocked. Gotta be a top 3 show for me. I love Noora's vocal, listened to almost all female heavy metal vocals since early 80's. I agree, she has probably the best toned vocals in HR and HM however Jutta Weinhold from Zed Yago/Velvet Viper is first on my list :) I bet lady Weinhold did influence on Noora. Cheerz brother! \m/

I have to admit that I was worried a couple of years ago when Battle Beast announced they had parted ways with guitarist and main songwriter Anton Kabanen. I'm happy to say the new album proves the band can write good songs by themselves as well. Out of the whole album there are only two weak tracks, Dancing With The Beast and Far From Heaven, the rest all kick ass. Ventures into new and previously uncharted musical territories like Lost In Wars would be good to hear from them in the future. All in all I give this album a 4 stars out of five. Anton, the challenge has been made, bring on the debut of Beast In Black!

I totally agree Drake..I don't usually dig female metal vocals but this chick really makes me rethink my stance..One of the first things that came to mind was a female Rob Halford..I also don't like a lot of keyboards in my metal, (and thankfully they don't use em on EVERY tune), but this band might just make me change my mind about these two things..

Brittney Slayes and Lzzy Hale are also some extremely great metal singers, though Lzzy sadly sticks more with a pop/rock genre...Halestorm does have some metal tracks tho
