Thanks for posting this info. I guess it really boils down to immediate needs. I have a fully loaded FLC vest (extended confrontation) & a battle belt setup for grab & go emergency. They both have their pros & cons 🤷

Great video. I love how quickly you get to things and the little tips you add into the video, like medical and fitness. Keep them coming, Cowboy!

Trying not to waste anyone’s time. I hate KZbin videos that take 5 minutes to get going

Good job bro! Obviously you've trained with that battle belt in its configuration for a while. It shows in your confidence and abilities.

Yes sir. Training over gear everyday, but gear does assist in certain aspects

i'm glad to know i'm not the only one who struggles with the esstac gorilla grip. this vid is helpful for optimizing belts, very nice!

New to belt step ups; it's a bit daunting for someone new. Also don't want to waste money buying things that aren't compatible or stuff I don't need. Great overview, thank you!

If you want a green belt without buying a new one, you should think about spraying it with rustolum camo spray paints. I've done that to a lot of my gear that i bought in black but realized i wanted green later on. It's way cheaper. That being said, it won't be an exact od or ranger green, but it can be very close. Great video!

For an outer belt that stays put check out the HSGI sure grip and the TRex arms Orion

I am wondering for mag pouch placement I see ppl put it more toward the front and also there are ppl more toward the 9 o’clock. I know this is to each its own but what’s the golden rule here? Should it be more on the opposite side of pistol holster position?

Good belt setup. You can use a heat gun or hair drier to modify the retention on the KYWIs. Do you experience the same difficulty re-indexing polymer AR mags as with the metal mags? You're not the first person I've heard talk about the edges of metal mags catching on the kydex insert, which is why I'm asking. I use PMAGs and after a little practice, I can re-index mags into the Esstac pouches quickly. You might want to look into one of the products that drops the leg strap down the thigh a little. Stuff like the Edgar Sherman Swivlah and Carey Concealment TSH. I hated having my leg strap riding up into the family jewels.

Both seem to catch from time to time but the polymer does seem easier than the metal mags. And I’ll look into those leg straps you recommended. Definitely need some new ones

30* minimum for canted magazine carriers. Extra rifle mag parallel to earth for easy mechanics. Wilder Tactical for the leg strap. Check out NEOMags new belt system. Pricey to build out but way less “tactical” and looks good for “urban evasion” and playing grey man.

Interesting setup, I’ll look into some of those suggestions
