Water and holy being ranked so differently speaks for metal and zombies and how Ponos has been treating the two. Zombies and their ability to guarentee to take portions of the field with burrow makes holy required for zombie-heavy stages, and their reviving at the worst possible time can cost you the run. While metals are just there at the front, Unchanged from the beginning. I found myself pairing cat base recharge combos with holy blast. Works well on Zamelle stages.

I have a way to “fix” the waterblast (more likely keep it exactly the same in usage but…). So a cool way imo to change it would be to first, make it function like the normal and holy blast where it fires a wave type thing instead of just hitting in a single area like breakerblast. Maybe this could come with a slight decrease in the damage to metals, but it was already pretty useless anyways so I think thats fine. Then, to add another niche thing just to fit to concept. What if it also removes any debuffs on cats as well? Because it’s water, it only makes sense. This makes the waterblast a teensy bit more versatile, at least better than the state it is now. Metal has been powercrept so much that I think this would be a fine change.

Cleansing mechanic also seems really cool, but removing debuffs seems to be more like worse version of curse. Here is an idea for a surge cannon, instead of rng like the doge surge base, you can hold down the fire button for the surge to farther down, and release when you want it to fire, this may distract your meat shielding, but this could be a great bore jr counter

2:51 Water blast doesn't always deal 1 damage. It does 0.1% of the enemy's current health. Does this almost always equal one? Yes. BUT there is one really neat edge case with an enemy that has really high HP (so that 0.1% isn't just 1 damage) and a lot of knockbacks. 7's water blast clip against metafilibuster will always be one of if not my favorite battle cats strategies.

I have an idea to buff Curseblast. Replace the vanilla Curse debuff inflicted by the cannon, with an "enhanced" version of Curse, that disables more enemy abilities like Waves, Surges, Toxic, Crit/Savage. Also, Curseblast should also Weaken enemies as well. EDIT: I didn't realize Curse doesn't nullify enemy immunities. Let's change that with Curseblast's new & enhanced Curse effect.
