I don't think including those things would work well for a remake. The game's structure was balanced around the fact that Dragon types were very powerful and difficult to counter. That's why Nobunaga as the lord of Dragnor was the final challenge. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely want a follow up to Pokémon Conquest, but including Fairy types would absolutely destroy the gameplay experience of the original unless they make the new Fairy kingdom only accessible in the post-game.

Hideyoshi, Kanbei and Hanbei were always my favorite trio in this game, their stories was so fun to play through, Emboar and Ampharos were a perfect team for all three of their adventures🔥

Hideyoshi took up Nobunaga's ambition after the latter was betrayed by Mitsuhide and considering that Nobunaga primarily uses Zekrom It makes sense that Hideyoshi, who specializes in Fire Types, would use Reshiram, which is Zekrom's fire type counterpart

We are literally never getting a sequel... I'm sure the liscencing is split up and that means it couldn't even be considered, ever. No remake. No remaster. No mentioning of its name. It's gone.

Like many people here I'm hoping for a sequel, but if they do, then I just hope they use the old versions of the SW characters. I *hate* almost all of the redesigns from SW5, though admittedly it is less because of the designs (though I still do believe that literally every returning character except No and _maybe_ Ieyasu looks worse) and more for the fact that they made almost everyone assholes. I only found about a fourth of the SW5 characters to be even _remotely_ likable and I just don't believe that the reboot versions of the SW characters would "work" with pokemon due to their mostly terrible personalities, but I would love to see the 4th gen characters like Yoshitsugu and Naotora become pokemon trainers, too. Maybe I'm being a choosing-beggar, but I'd rather _not_ get a sequel than one that uses the rebooted characters. Oh, and they'd better include Nagamasa next time since he's my favorite. Yes, I'm aware of the fan theory that the protagonist is supposed to be him. No, that's not good enough for me. I want my boi.
