Steve DeBerg showed every possible quarterback skills on this game or video. Five step drop, seven step drop, rolling out, play fake, reading the defense, finding open receiver, avoiding sacks and etc. It was just beautiful to watch how his mechanic is a textbook. But at the end, Dan Marino carried the team by himself as always. Did you see Marino dropping without looking seven or eight step back? These QBs are just unbelievable to watch.

What an exciting game! A couple things that stood out to me: 1. I miss how they used to show not only the 3rd down conversion numbers but the average yards to go on that down as well. 2. Every time I see a game or highlights that has Jimmie Giles in them I come away impressed. He'd make at least one impressive play a game it seemed. He's one of those very underrated players as he was a 4x Pro Bowler with this season being his final Pro Bowl year.

No, it isn't. If he played today he'd be no better than slightly above average. Patrick Mahomes is on an entirely different level of talent and awareness. Marino's arm was strong for the '80's but not even for the 2000's let alone the 2020's... I'd say his arm wasn't even the strongest of his generation, Elway had a stronger arm if you ask most people. Aaron Rodgers also has a significantly stronger and more accurate arm with a quicker release. Favre probably had a stronger arm as well.... Josh Allen definitely has a stronger arm.... the list goes on. It's absurd to refer to Dan Marino as like watching MJ play... clueless take.

Dolphins Center Dwight Stephenson is one of the best players I have ever seen. Arguably the best Olineman ever. Such a shame injuries cut his career short after only like 8 seasons.

This game goes to show just how much Marino had to win games for the Dolphins, as the defense just collapsed in the second half, and any time the running game made a positive play, they would counter by having a negative play too. Did no one teach Hampton to switch the ball the whichever hand was facing the closest sideline, since he insists on holding the ball out, which is why he kept fumbling so much.
