Ironically the Cowboys later 1990s dynasty never used the shotgun even though Dallas invented it, because Norv Turner (their OC at the time) didn’t like it.

Not sure... but wasn't Rob Moore (WR) a former Cardinal or was there where he went after his Jets career? I know Boomer goes there after... Dolphins' receivers were both of former teams.. Irving Fryar (Pats) and Mark Ingram (Giants). There might be some names I left out or forgot.. but that's a pretty good list of free agent pickups and ended up making for a very good game.

Beginning with this loss and lasting through the end of the 1996 season, the Jets would wind up losing 33 of their next 37 games. Yikes. While we're on the subject of clocks in the NFL this week( right, Cowboys fans? ;-p ), the Marino 'fake spike' was often referred to as 'The Clock Play' where they faked spiking the ball to stop the game clock & instead Marino fired the ball to Ingram in the endzone for the game-winning TD. Had the Jets won this game they would've pulled into a 1st place tie with the Dolphins in the AFC East. Instead, the 'Fins staged a dramatic comeback & would win the division at season's end.
