Imagine being Rosa or Nate. You're in a cave with nothing to defend you but a team of your friends. You're all alone, having followed a deranged terrorist into a cave of ice, thinking you've finally cought him and he has no where left to run, only to stop in your tracks as you find yourself being stared down by the cold eyes of a resurrected god. Ghetsis could escape, or blow you out of the cave to continue his plans, but instead his first course of action is to loudly and gleefully command the ice beast, a dragon the size of a building, to kill you personally. No other Pokemon villain has gone out of their way to personally kill the MC in particular like Ghetsis.

He's been defeated once and it drove him insane. Getting reminded of Hilbert/Hilda, Ghetsis could not afford to lose a second time. And this time, he would eliminate all chances of losing by following simple logic in a twisted way: Two trainers can't battle if only one trainer is present. Ghetsis knew what he was doing, he wasn't blinded by the cold power he had attained. He didn't want to lose again, he simply could not.

I remember in 3rd grade finally getting to him and having what was the hardest fight till then in the school library with earplugs during a parent meeting conference, sweating like crazy after the coolest cut scene and just being silently excited having the time of my life. relying on my starter to get through the fight while having the rest of my team healing it just to win. One of the best moments in my life.

Great job! As far as I remember, not a lot of people remix/remaster this theme (his theme in B/W gets more plus it's simpler) and even then I don't remember many doing it justice, but you definitely are one of them! I love your remastered tracks (met you through one of Megaman Starforce, those are awesome btw) even though I don't tune in too often, but like I said I really enjoy when I do tune in, thank you for making awesome music Zame.

I'm doing my own D&D session & I've been exclusively using your music for all town, paths & fights, & this one is exactly what I had in mind for a future boss fight. So excited to play the first 20 seconds without talking just to set the tone, & the laugh 30 seconds in really just gives an uneasy feeling just listening to it. I loved Ghetsis because of how genuinely evil he was. Sure, previous villains all wanted to end the world in one way or another but they usually had some weird philosophical reason for doing it. Ghetsis however, just wants to rule the world with an iron fist, and doesn’t care what he has to do or who he has to hurt to do it. Adopting N just to use him as a figurehead for his schemes. Using Pokémon as slaves to build his castle, and actually trying to kill your character on screen. Ghetsis doesn’t have any weird philosophy or motive. He just loves being evil, and he’s really good at it.

I knew it was going to be his B2W2 theme. It's been awhile since you made the last one. Also YES! That was the perfect use for the Team Flare Synth chord notes. Also, I don't like the implications of that snapping sound effect sounding like Ghetsis is either cracking a whip or stabbing the ground with his Control Cane because either one gives very dark implications given his SEVERELY UNSTABLE raging personality. That and how he treats his Pokémon. He got rid of half of his Original Team because he blamed them for his loss against Hilbert/Hilda and replaced them and of course his Hydreigon knows a fully powered up Frustration attack.

Makes sense, the original theme for BW2 does have whips included. A channel named 'Some Body' did a music sheet for the theme and 'whip' is included within the list of instruments. As an admirer of amazing villains and even more amazing villain themes, I have listened to all there is when it comes to Ghetsis.

I was just listening to the original game track; how difficult would it be to make this amazingly perfect remaster binaural just like the original track? The fast paced music and unusual instruments moving quickly from ear to ear helped make the original track so disorienting, like the world was spinning, which I think substantially helped the battle feel all the more intense.

Hands down, best take on this I've ever heard. It's both loyal to original but also innovative enough to stand out as it's own thing. I love details like the whiplashes and sweeps(?) (not sure what to call those fading in and out synthetic effects) you added to enrich the song. Translation of all the instruments is top notch, timpani and snares hit the right amount of hard, and the choir is just breathtaking! I was honestly interested in making my own take on it, but you just blew both me out of competition and my mind. I love your remaster beyond words, really. One of the best ones you have ever produced! Shame the remix we'd get in a possible B2W2 remake somewhere in the future wouldn't be likely to be as good.

This is a really nice version of this song. I love the laughter you put in at the 30 second mark. Randomly throwing out a money idea for pokemon company. But if a Black and White Remake happened. I'd want it to be where it has both BW1 and BW2 in it. Where you play through BW1 and when you finish the game on the title screen you unlock the option to play through BW2. So it has both games in it.
