Wow Hoyt was the fastest with a modular draw length cam system. And just about as quiet as the phase 4 too.

Mathews is overrated.

Great Video! I tested all three at my local archery shop yesterday and came home with the Prime. I spent over an hour shooting all three before eliminating the Hoyt, then another half hour shooting the Prime and Mathews before eliminating the Mathews. All 3 bows are excellent, you really can't choose a bad one. The Hoyt grip is the best but the mass of the bow feels off balance when you pick it up. The Mathews is quiet, smooth and a pleasure to shoot but the styling is too unique for me. The Revex one out overall for balance and feel as a total shooting experience. When I drew the Revex, my sight level bubble was consistently in the middle or only needed slight movement to level the bow. The Revex felt the most consistent for me in draw, back wall, hold (aiming) and release. And now after shooting lots of arrows through the Prime, yes you will shoot the vanes off your arrows

I found it interesting that there was a significant difference in speeds with the 350 grain arrow but very little difference with the 450 grain arrow. For me, the latter number is what matters since this is more in line with a hunting weight arrow. It could be argued that the Prime does a better job at efficiency with an arrow weight that most people hunt with.

Prime will still shoot the vanes off your other arrows at 100m…. Video coming September 18th! In-line tech doesn’t get a mention?!?

1. Hoyt: rotating mods; draw cycle; speed. 2. Mathews: Stay Afield System. 3. Prime: significant difference in speed, though their free string/cables every 2 yrs is a true plus; NanoGrip feels great

Hoyt for the win! Prime would be my second choice with the mathews dead lastShould have included the bowtech ss34 and pse .

All roads stop at the SS34. Followed by the Phase 4. Can’t really go wrong with either, but in my opinion the bowtech comes out on top.

Why not test the SS34 with the "34" bows?

We already have that bow in another battle. All the data is on that video

Why do you slap your fingers against the grip at release?

It’s called double tap all the pros do it 🤥
@addictedtoarchery5040 Жыл бұрын
It’s actually a bad habit because you can create tension in your bow hand in anticipation of the shot because you want to grab the bow. It’s best to gently sit your finger tips against the front of the riser so your mind doesn’t think you need to grab the bow to keep from dropping it when you shoot.

If it’s a battle of the 34s then where is the SS34?
@BowHunterPlanet Жыл бұрын
True. Issue was I already did the SS34 in the video before this, but also I did not have it handy for this ep.

Why is Mathews in a battle of the 34’s it’s a 33” ata not 34” anything about the Mathews should be voided in this match up

Yes but this one is just with these. Too many would be to long of a video. We are working smaller videos with Battles.
