A fascinating mix of model, actual sound recordings and historical material. The filming of the model locos in action, particularly the close up shots of moving trains, was something I haven't seen before and worked really well. A very professional job.

If only spitfire was preserved 😔 I mean he's been through the second world war, lots of grueling express passenger and goods work, and was involved in the Lewisham disaster (the 3rd worst train accident in the UK) and made it out mostly unscathed, and what does he get? Scrap! That's what he got! It isn't fair i tell you! He should have been saved!
