Stick to me like glue. Two spits I'd like to see together flying are x4650 kl a, and the bbmf p7350, which is now painted to represent Al Deeres spit, kl b. X4650 chopped off the tail of Al Deeres spit, because the less experienced pilot got too close, on 28th December 1940. Al deeres spit crashed,he bailed out. The damaged x4650 was also damaged, but the pilot levelled off the plane, and he also bailed out. X4650, landed in a river in North Yorkshire. It was discovered in 1976,and is now flying.

In case anyone has not seen it before, here is the website of Carlos García Bermúdez Anglada, one of the Spanish pilots who flew in the film. www.jaon.es/batallainglaterra/batallainglaterra.htm

Brilliant. I was there and hope you do not mind me asking, but my footage has very high wind noise, which means I scrapped it all. Do you use anything to cut out wind ?. I use Pinnacle 14 to edir my footage . Cheers

Ivor - I was filming with a handheld Sony FDR-AXP33. The mic I find is very good and I use wind noise reduction in camera but also have a home made 'dead cat fur' covering the mic. Very easy to make. I purchased a faux fur sample from an online faux fur throw supplier, it cost about £2, cut about a 1 square inch piece from it - shaped and enough to entirely cover the mic on top of the camera. I then got some sticky backed velcro and cut it into thin strips which I stuck around the edge of the mic and edge of the fur piece and stuck the fur over the mic. It works a treat, saves weight from an external mic and is very cheap and replaceable. I edit mine with iMovie.
