Hello all, awesome song, it makes me proud to be PUNJABI. Although I am a Punjabi Musselman I take much pride in the Sihk History and all things that came of Punjab. Yes my ancestors converted to Islam and yours converted to Sihkism, we were all Hindus before our ancestors converted and we all are Punjabi. We all as Punjabis have the same blood and are brothers. Fighting over religion is what South Asians have done forever. Shouldn't we try unity and peace? We are all Indians. We are all from the Subcontinent and have more in common then we do different. Punjab Zindabad, Khalsa Zindabad, Awan Qutab Shah Zindabad, Hindustan Zindabad, Pakistan Zindabad! Oh and yes obviously Wazir Khan was a Mohgal and was not Raj Put, he being the ruler of Punjab at the time did have Raj Puts conscripted in his army.

(1) Indian NCERT and history textbooks should include sikh warrior stories like to be truly secular. - banda singh bahadur (born rajput/baptised sikh) - ranjit singh - hari singh nalwa - etc Most of the dumb history textbooks talk about gandhi/nehru who independence fight was mostly DUD Sikhs also have been one of the backbones of indian army. (2) ofcourse there are few unfortunate elements of sikh history which are hard to digest. I stayed in shanghai china for a month. A school boy approached me and asked am I an indian, I answered yes. He asked am I from punjab (he pronounced incorrectly but I could make it). I was surprised how come this school boy knows indians/punjabi. Then I went through history articles about shanghai sikhs and few other stuff. - sikh forces were used by british to control shanghai to some extent, there is also an allegation sikhs fired on local population in one instance. (Few More) - Sikhs fighting for british in WWII even after jalianwalabagh massacre which is never answered by anyone even to this date. - sikh regiments and gurkha regiments were used by british to supress 1857 indian rebellion (4) Manmohan singh was one of the finest finance ministers india ever had. But as a prime minister though he was not himself corrupt allowed corruption under him . Its like karna staying silent during mahabharata on side of kauravas attrocities. - He sent a letter to raja to review telecom auctions (he knew of multi lakh crore fraud) - Manmohan singh also has to be criticized with Telangana/Andhra partition without proper river water sharing agreements , despite being from punjab which itself suffers due to unfair water suction by neighboring states. (Its not just doing wrong, even keeping silent without stoping misdeeds when duty bound is a sin)

The Mughals controlled over Dlehi sultanate but not all of India, the Marathas completely dominated the south and rose up against the Mughals and drove me out. Even the Khalsa order did this as well. The Marathas and Khalsa completely dominated over Mughal rule in India and drove them out of the subcontinent.

dear sikh brothers.....we have read history of Shivaji Maharaj in Mahrashtra and we learned what sacrifices are.... we have sikhs in nanded in maharshtra.... and I can say that sikhs always assimilate with rest of native people from heart. In nanded sikhs speak so good marathi and some even speak marathi at homes and Not punjabi. what more can u say!!! what ever indira gandhi did adn wahtever happened 1984 and since...Please please dont ever think Hindus will do that...It just cannot be done by hindus...who have been obliged 500 years by your sikh gurus...I know one man saying this will not much difference....BUt please My sikh brothers....dont ever ever try to seperate from us in anger....This will be very sad!

After independence as the muslim league received pakistan punjabi people too implored for a distinctive state which they got after 19 years of culminating arduous efforts. In 1966 Punjab was divided into himachal haryana and Punjab , this division was based on language only. Why is there a need for further division? Let us formulate a hypothetical situation where khalistan is existent. What do you see ? What will be the future goals for the new born nation? What I fathom is, there will be a militant rule , think about it, only staunch sikhs demand khalistan most of who are Nihangs . When khalistan is to be formed I can assure you they will gain power. The economy would be reseted . Ever thought of how will you spike it up? Also if you think creating a state special to sikhs would alleviate all conflicts then you are deluded. As if Bhindrawala and his followers did not lynch nirankaris in harimandir sahib just because they believed in a living god. This is no doubt a paragon and quintessence of communalism. From the history of Balkan countries and Yugo Slavia we have acquainted the ensues of separation. Instead of causing a divide upon your own people , think of uniting the indian sub continent. Akhand Bharat is an impeccable way to enhance the economy and raise military power. This will too result in a form of dominance around the globe. If each country behaves with couth and prudence akhand bharat would be a panacea to cure poverty and illiteracy. By beseeching a separate state for sikhs you are desecrating the idea of nationalism and also negating Indian history. Be patriotic and avoid extremism.
