When I wore a younger man's clothes I wish one of those that were hooting and hollering all the time at a concert. Now That I'm Older all I want them to do is shut the fuk up so I can listen to the music. How times have changed. LOL.
@robinhood4802 жыл бұрын
I went to see Neil Young and Crazy Horse around 1996 and everyone stood in the seats and screamed and hollered nonstop. Couldn’t see or hear the music..... just noise. They opened with HeyHey My and that was all I got. The lights went out and the volume went up....WAY UP. Feedback guitar for 30-45 minutes. No attempt to play a song. We walked out. Later in guitar magazines they said Neil had been doing that on this tour.

Robert always liked blues & folk. A lot of LZ was ethereal with a rock twist. This is LZ tamed.

This video is very jumpy and the mic gain was too high resulting in distortion especially vocals. It was a new camera and I wasn’t used to all the controls/features. Plus, ushers were watching for people in the crowd who were recording then way more than now so it made it more difficult to hold steady. The show was truly epic.

Yes sound was not so good. Robert Plant is a treasure. This ethereal masterpiece deserves better production. Fog, lightning, thunderbolts. The guitarist needs to strum the chords harder. The mandolin playing was so generic. Everything was so bland. It doesn't matter that Robert doesn't hit the high notes anymore. Great staging and production would have made this timeless.
