It’s too bad that the original Mercer Oak is no longer alive. The tree was supposedly where the mortally wounded General Hugh Mercer was brought under.

The tree that now stands is a sapling of the original

Another source said the old tree was not the spot where Mercer died.
@df5295 Жыл бұрын
The tree was in the area where General Mercer was wounded, and they put him under the tree. He died in the Clark house a few days later. You can see the house at 0:33.

this totally reminds me of some civil war game i played back in the 90's I cant remember for the life of me what it is called though. I thought it was robert e lee civil war general. but pictures are totally wrong. it would have gifs of certain attacks, and you are forced to play the historic battles from the south side. when you beat the game it unlocks sand box mode that allows you to play from the north perspective. I want to play it again. but the biggest thing I remember from the game was the music. it was AMAZING!!!!
@crazymixture57 Жыл бұрын
I love Civil War history but love Revolutionary War history more just for the plain fact that whether north or south we were all united under one cause. We all are American and God Bless everyone!

It can be a number thing honestly, you want to put on a good show but you can't take tens of hits at proper range in a small platoon because there will be nothing left
