lol ya. One of the joys of working with a green screen in a small room. Some of the green reflects off the bell of the trumpet, so when I remove all the green in video editing afterwards, part of the bell goes with it xD

Yea, the problem with playing movie music (that typically doesn't have lyrics) is that you either have to do a trumpet multitrack to cover all the parts (which takes a lot of time) or you settle for a cheesy backing track. I actually just bought like 7 additional sheet music books that have play-along CDs with them. Two of the CDs are decent, but the rest are cheesy. Like there's literally a very loud, obnoxious xylophone playing the melody with you lololol. I might need to start just playing overtop of the original soundtracks. It increases the risk of getting into copyright trouble, but yea, dat cheese.

Oooh, congrats! Hmmm, you could always do trumpet and percussion if you didn't want to learn another embouchure. If you wanted to stay with brass and keep things similar to trumpet, you could go for maybe Euphonium, although there would be differences involved with the embouchure, but you get used to it.

It would be actually very nice if the other trumpets were you. I mean.. like you have been doing in some of your recent videos. Filming yourself playing different roles in the song, you know what I'm talking about, because the sound of the trumpets in the background isn't as good as it would be if it was yours.

Yea, when a midi backing track is present, I usually hope that trumpets won't show up because they are cringey lol. I could do all the parts if I wanted, but I'm just very careful in deciding what songs I should go all out on, and which ones just to find a backing track for. Would taking weeks and weeks and hours upon hours of editing be worth it? Or would the video just get a couple of thousand views and die off? I went all out on the main title as well as Jurassic Park because I felt pretty good that all the work would result in at least a decent amount of views.

RocketLeon45 I don't actually work on my range a whole lot nowadays, but I used to play scales a lot. That will probably help with range, as well as doing arpeggios gradually ascending until you reach the note you want to hit. Of course, relaxation and a fast air stream and can do wonders up there as well.

The bell is glitchy 😂 I'm using a green screen, and the light makes part of the green reflect off the bell, so it makes that part invisible when I get rid of all the green in the video.
