My first Nikon camera was a Nikkormat FS purchased used in 1973. Current cameras are the Z7 II and the Zf. Your cameras are now nearly antiques and you should consider trading all of them in. The Z7 II has CFexpress b and SD UHS-2 card slots and is a high resolution camera with a first generation AF system but it's useful for Portraits or Landscapes and the image quality is fantastic. The Zf features the 2nd generation AF system used in the Z9, Z8, C6 III, the Zf, and the Z50 II. It is stunning for it's accuracy and reliability with fast moving subjects and the Eye Detection works with moving subjects. In addition the Zf is a low light Animal, even with the ISO set to 51,200 the in camera NR will make the images look very film like with a nice crisp "grain". It's so good I have a 52mm variable ND filter on order so I can get that look in full sunlight. I'll also note that the Zf can do AF down to EV -9 which is basically a small birthday cake light source. Basically if you don't have an intense need for super high quality video the Zf is the best bargain in Nikon's entire lineup, especially at the current 1799.95 Sale price. Note, Rolling Shutter is an issue with the Z7 II and the Zf, it's not with the Z6 III, Z8, and Z9. BTW if you do need super high quality video the Z6 III is the first step, after that you have the Z8 and Z9. BTW, the new 50mm f1.4 is marvelous and you can use a 62mm to 52mm step down ring without even a hint of filter clipping. So lenses such as the 26mm f2.8 and 40mm f2 which use the 52mm threads can share filters with the 50mm f1.4.

@@Scooter_123_abc I love all the information you’ve shared here. I never trade in cameras. Too much value lost. When the day comes I can’t make my clients happy with what I have I’ll move up. Until then I’ll keep making money with my antiques.

I am primarily a hobbyist. I have a Z6 and Z7. They are great cameras. I have used them in some event work and love the results I get.

@@gregcorker2193 I’ve loved mine as well. They have always been able to get the results I’ve been after. Thanks for watching!

Z8 is my rolls camera. It changes everything because of auto focus and sharpness and the banks. Z50 is the camera i carry allways with me. Took the Z50 once with me for dolfin hunting (photo wise) but that was a mistake. I should have brought the Z8 because of it speed in auto focus. Z50 is small and light with very affordable lenses.

I’m dying to try a z8. I honestly think it will be my next Z. I love how you clarified dolphin hunting 😂😭

Great Video .. I agree with your opinion of the 40mm and 28mm renders the same and our both excellent for their price point 💯

Thank you so much! They are so good for the price. The 28 has become a favorite of mine to walk around with. Sure I would love a 24mm but for the price difference it’s hard to justify.

Nice comparison between the different cameras. I shoot with two Z6ii and love them. The Z6ii is a low light monster! I have recently shot some Milkyway pictures and was very impressed I mostly shoot travel and wild life. I would like a high mega pixel for cropping those wildlife shots!

The higher mega pixel is great for cropping. I make banners quite often for events and I made a 6 foot banner with a z6 image and one with a z7 image and even though the z6 held up the added detail that was clearly visible in the z7 image was striking. Thanks for watching!!

Good and informative video. Yes the AF is game changer, I just bought my Z6 and I must say I'm able to take shots with it which I would miss with my D750.

Same with me and my D700. I shoot so much less now because the focus is so accurate. Thanks for watching!!

These are all version one correct?
@Huffoto3 ай бұрын
@@VitoUno yes. I haven’t bought any versions 2 editions. I didn’t really see why for the price difference.
