I love my pelican 130! I've had the Dorado and it's a beast but it's a heavy beast. I've had some future beaches and some cheap paddle pelicans. I just bought the big fish. And it's a beast like the Dorado I've used it three times since I bought it. I seem to grab the 130... Because it's so easy to move around! You can almost climb a fence with it. But it's not a stable as most!

Would be cool to see if you can add hatches to the Getaway. Also, people really need to test paddling kayaks in rough conditions before they buy them.. As you said, the drives break. And ive seen full grown men have to call for help when their drives break because they cant paddle their 150lb kayak against the wind or current.

If I was in my twenties I would go with the Gateway, But being I'm in my sixties I go with the Catch 110, On the Gateway there are no sides to it, Should flip quite easily, So flip it Aliex.

Getaway strictly for recreation. If you are even half serious about fishing then the Catch 110 is the way to go - that is a nice compact fishing Yak. However if I was after a budget fishing Yak that size then I would go for the Hobie Passport 10.5 as it has a better pedal drive.
