Battle Of Uhud | A Tough Lesson For The Muslims | Ghazwa-E-Uhud | Animated History | Heroes & Histories. Hi, Thanks for watching our video, Many Muslims were killed, and Muhammad himself was severely injured. The Muslims had to withdraw up the slopes of Uhud. The Meccans did not pursue the Muslims further but marched back to Mecca declaring victory.
The Battle of Uhud was fought on Saturday, 23 March 625 AD, in the valley north of Mount Uhud. The Qurayshi Meccans, led by Abu Sufyan ibn Harb, commanded an army of 3,000 men toward Muhammad's stronghold in Medina.

The archers are among youngsters, they only thought the battle was over, and they were very happy with the winning and glory. Rasulullah commands them not to go down whatever the matter is because, Rasulullah knows what will younsters react to the winning or losing, they will be very excited or too scared. So it was not their fault but its human nature. Those who join the battle and dont run from the battle are Rasulullah sahabat anyway, and they were promissed to be granted Jannah and die as martyr. Also that Battle of Uhud is just a beginning of the end. This battle is significant, because without this battle, Rasulullah's uncle Khaleed Al Walid (who was in this battle) wont be a prominence followers in History, who would help to spread Islam even wider. Peace be Upon Muhammad Rasulullah S.A.W and all of the sahabat. They were all significant heroes in History of Islam.
