Battle Rap 101: How To Win Your First Rap Battle

I had two battles; I won my debut and lost my second battle. For my debut I memorized everything 200% and was drunk on my second (that's on me). If I had any 3 pieces of advice it's this: 1. Preparation; I've seen way too many battles of people choking; make sure you're 200% on the battle with your what you gotta say 2. Delivery: You can have the best bars, but if you're delivery is wack you will lose the audience. 3. Perform sober, some people need drugs or alcohol to perform...if that's the case then do that shit at rehearsal NOT at the battle. Drink and smoke after you won your battle!!

Hello! Going into my first rap battle. How do I write and memorize bars for people I’ve never met? Not sure how to diss someone I know nothing about. Will I need to freestyle off the dome in the moment? I’m hella nervous, this is my first real rap performance in front of a crowd

Man used to do freestyles & rap battles in high school and after school especially Wasnt about wit or complex analogies & metaphors just having fun The one who said embarrassing things & funny things won But these tips are super useful 🎉🎉🎉🎉

I analyze their diss and retort by responding with complicated disses that always have a better flow and more rhyme. I’m trying to do this next battle with only literal f23k ups based on whatever they said. I always include that after I’m done with them they will have a lyrical spotter! The crowd loves that one!
