Dragon Ash - Shizukana Hibi no Kaidan wo (Climb the Steps of Quiet Days) [ENGLISH TRANSLATION]
Written during the height (I believe) of Jpop (1995 - 2005), Dragon Ash's seminal ballad was written for the unforgettable Japanese film classic "Battle Royale" to be used as its ending theme. A quietly introspective Kj waxes lyrical about nostalgia and loss of innocence, during the band's transitional period in their musical career, ending their experimentation with nu metal and rap rock. A strangely suitable song for the end of such a violent flick, the song was later remastered for the album "Lily of Da Valley".
