Honestly, the remake's versions of the Shadow Queen's themes are starting to grow on me. I think they went for different takes compared to the original. The original themes were more focused on the creepiness of her. The remakes seem to play more into her power than anything.

I get HUGE cosmic horror from this version of her in comparison to the demon horror in the OG that's probably why it feels so different

Truly i do want more people to think of this. It's not like the vibes of the songs were changed for no reason. THE WHOLE GAME has shifted vibes of a lot of stuff, not just songs. To assume its bad because its not a 1:1 recreation that goes for the exact same feel feels silly to me.

I think that the OG theme was really more focused on the horrorand creepyness than anything, but this and the second form themes I feel that still give some creepy/horror vibes still, but also makes me feel much more overwhelmed than the OG. I admitz I didnt like it the first time I heard but it grew on me

I like how they remade this theme a lot. They made the theme sound very dark and ancient-like. It almost sounds menacing and royal. I think it should’ve sounded like this in the original instead with that upbeat version. That’s not taking anything away from the original though! I love both versions still.

To be honest the original for this one and shadow queen was far better. The guitar just doesn't live up to the sounds of the old shadow peach and queen suits.

Upbeat and intense aren't the same. The intensity makes the shadow queen seem like a real threat. The old one makes her seem like a scary story

I think u might be confusing triumphant with upbeat, this song is triumphant as it is the shadow queen’s return to terror after 1000 years. It is meant to be grand but menacing. The OG shows her scariness and terrifying nature while the remake shows her immense power and destructive capabilities Edit: I felt so geeky writing that lmao
