@@snxffys6436 Well I mean there's two approaches to it, the game doesn't force you to take the Assassin's Creed route. You can actually roleplay as an honorable samurai if you wish to, even though that'd make it a little bit harder.

Were the battle themes in the game selected by random for each encounter, or were certain of these 4 themes playing dependent on where you are, how far you are in the game, the enemies you were fighting, etc? I'd be interested to know what parameters defined what battle theme plays within the game.

I'm pretty sure its like, completely random. I believe the only one which had like a higher chance of playing is the like, 4th battle theme which most commonly plays while fighting Straw Hats. Besides that...any theme can play against any enemy.
