They somehow managed to merge together my favourite X & Y themes: the Kalos theme and Lumiose City, with the addition of Sycamore's Lab and the Hall of Fame theme. Truly a masterpiece, that made me realise that next year X & Y are 10 years old

(Giovanni did say he intended to use an ultra beast to brainwash Lusamine in Rainbow Rocket) For Rose can expect him to maybe be manipulated like how Giovanni pitted Maxie and Archie against each other.

Which why I love that Masters gives new life and focus to this characters. They already gone through initial arcs, but now have new developments, perspective, and overall growth. Personally to me I consider it canon. Yes even with Hoopa shenanigans involved. As even that is addressed.

to be fair that kind of applies to almost any player character in the game aside from Red and (to a lesser extent) Hilbert. I really hope intergame continuity becomes more normal again, we haven't had much since Gen 7 and Gen 5 was the last time a big interregional tournament was held in the main games.

That moment when a mobile game of all things gave Kalos's characters more respect than the mainline games ever did. They had many opportunities to do that, like with a Z version or having characters like Diantha appear as secret superboss trainers in other games. But nope, it's just Cynthia-this, Cynthia-that. Seriously, enough of giving all the good stuff and certain opportunities to Cynthia. Let others have a chance to shine. Characters like Diantha and Geeta were done dirty in their respective games. They deserve better.

XY & Z would’ve been like DP & Pt if Z only existed. Gen 6 is literally gen 4 part 2 even the evil teams are alike, have a regional bunny, Volcano legendaries, but imo I find gen 6 better than 4.
