Undoubtedly some will ask "where's Serbia? where's Bulgaria? where's Belgium?" I would happily include locations featuring those factions, but the problem is I don't think DICE will build the factions for the maps.

I want a massive 8 map DLC (probably won't happen) 1- Somme (British and Germans) 2- Delville Wood (British and Germans) (Nighttime Forest) 3- Rape of Belgium (Belgium and Germany) (Belgium forces are civilians, Germans have a 1914 reskin) 4- Third Battle of Ypres (Belgium and Germany) (Belgium actually has their uniforms) 5- Siege of the Vardar River (Serbia and Bulgaria) 6- Kosovo (Serbia and Bulgaria) 7- Battle of Belgrade (Serbia and Austro-Hungary) 8- The Dragon Caves (France and Germany) (Maybe have a three-way map with France, Russia, and Germany but I'm not sure how that would work) Metro 1918 would be a cool free map like Giant's Shadow. Somme and Delville Wood make a Somme operation Siege of the Vardar River and Kosovo make a Balkan operation "For the Balkans" The Dragon Caves and Nivelle Nights make an operation "Chermin des Dames"

I’ve wanted the Serbs, Bulgarians, and Romanians since the first month of the game’s release. Even when people asked about Canadians and Belgians I was rooting for them. There’s already so much of the Western Front in this game, I want to see what went on down south in Europe. Seriously, it’s an entire theater of the war DICE is excluding, despite being the foundation for the conflict itself. They could have at least referenced it through skins and weapons like they did with the Pacific theater.

I would like to add the First Battle of the Marne as a suggestion. The reason in this case is that while it was critical to the Entente war effort, the battle itself cost over half a million casualties. This may not be as high as the Somme for instance, but while the Somme occurred over months, the First Battle of the Marne lasted about a week.

Being Australian, I wouldn’t mind them adding a “Hill 60” map set almost completely underground (similar to fort de vaux) with an ‘Australian tunneling core’ faction being introduced vs ‘German tunneling core’. I also think there could be deep areas in the map which require you to put on a breathing mask to enter. There could be ‘soft’ walls which you can blow up (maybe this could also be another use for the pickaxe), exposing a possible flanking rout. Maybe at the end of the match there could be a levelution moment where depending who wins, a side of the Hill is blown up (similar to when the ATAT blows up the shield generator in STBF at the end of a round of walker assault.) i think a map like this could also come with an official pistol only game mode. However on normal conquest you would be able to use any weapons...

It's most likely going to be Paschendale, Dice would be heartless not to add Paschendale. Although in retrospect it is probably going to be a houseless and fissure filled field with dead trees and trenches but that in it's own right sounds fun, it stops camping in houses and even makes sniper lane, which I like to fight to advance on snipers and kill them, it's all the more satisfying.

They should do a map set in German East Africa. I imagine it might be hard but it could lead to some interesting game play. The battle of the Somme most defiantly will be in in it. Sense Verdun and brusilov offensive is already in the game. And oh yeah all 3 of those battle were going on at the same time! Caporetto, should be added sense it was a huge victory for the central powers. It almost knocked Italy of the war. But a one thing they just add, is the seige of Pryemysl. But if dice decides to add an new front all together. They should let the solanika front. Where the Bulgarians fought the, French, Italians, British, and Russia, later on Greek forces and protuguess forces at the same time. Of course they had German and ottoman help.

Revisiting this video after almost 5 years and being reminded of how Flack helped make this game an even richer experience for me with his historical research, I am going to urge DICE to make the next major battlefield release Battlefield 1 Part 2. I’m sure that won’t happen but it should. The video reminds me of how much they left out. Imagine a new world war one game with the immersion and cinematic feel of BF1 but with the new engine.

Id love to see, but that's hardly gonna happen, The battle of Mărășești where the Romanian troops were outnumbered by the Germans who were more advanced as tactics and equipment but the Romanians succeded to win the battle. They borrowed and changed the French slogan "Around here one does not pass" . The motivation and bravery of these men existed just by the fear of death because losing those battles would have really marked the beginning of their Apocalypse

We should have following things in this game! 1) Belgian army 2) Bulgarian army 3) Serbian army 4) split British empire in Scottish, Canadian,... regiments in some maps 5) Greek army (against Bulgaria) 6) Japanese army 7) African theatre: get the black soldiers out of the armies who had segregation (all except French army) and put them in the colonial armies that were fighting in Africa! Peter Farrell don’t get me wrong, i want a black French soldier since that was a thing. A want black soldiers in an African campaign. Why? It’s historically accurate and it’s a good excuse for a nice change in maps. I also find it disrespectful towards the white soldiers that fought in the war, but I also find it disrespectful towards black people. Why? Because it just ignores the struggles they had to go through. Black soldiers wanted to fight and just weren’t allowed to! The battle Ypres in 1915 in Belgium Would be excellent if it was added. This battle was marked by the first chemical attack in history on April 22, 1915. It is also possible for this new DLC give us a specialist in chemical weapons. because the context of chemical warfare has not yet been addressed in game. They can launch this new elite class to demonstrate this terrible side of the war.

Just looking at a reference in the video the fact that the "Austria Hungarians were only factions in 2 maps Monte Grappe and Empires Edge" they were in 4 also both maps in the Brusilov Offensive. As for your map choice I think all of them are possible but Passchendale and The Somme are the most likely

good point, either way, its disappointing as I don't think we will get to see the New Zealand/Australian forces in a AAA game for a long time again. They wouldnt feature in a modern title and had minimal efforts in Vietnam. They weren't as well known in ww2 either so unless someone makes some other type of game we wont be seeing them for a LONG time.

Sure more maps on the italian front like the dolomites and caporetto would be cool, but they could also add the battle of "Vittorio Veneto" or the resistance of the italians troops in the Piave river, where the italians stopped the austroungarians' offensive in 1917, in particoular this one could add some sort of unique gameplay.

Lawgamer411 they weren’t completely independent during ww1 as the UK still had complete control over Canada’s foreign affairs which meant that parliament had their say on how Canada and other dominions would be involved and it was parliaments choice to fully involve Canada in the war so they couldn’t have given logistical support unless the British government said so

I'm sure they will add Canada. Similarly to the ANZACS Canada dosent really get the recognition they deserve for what they did in the war. But DICE added ANZACS Canada is probably next on their list

I'm hoping the adventures of Dunsterforce will make an appearance. They might not bother making a faction for Kuchik Khan for just one map, but it really is an interesting story, and it would be neat to see British Empire forces fighting Russian Red Army forces.

I think a vimy ridge map would be cool. Before the match starts (like in operations), the British would be huddled in tunnels, and the ends are blown open in a surprise attack (Yes, that happened)

I believe Somme and Ypres are pretty much secured to be on the next DLC, Somme because of the obvious and Ypres because if some of you remember there was a map named "Trenches of Ypres" on a picture that leaked some of the names of the base game maps.

I would like apocalypse to follow some of the bloodiest battles instead of one particular faction. For example we can have vimy ridge, somme and paschendale and then have some make shift weapons. I think this would be an awesome idea.

They should explore Latvia during WW1/1919, that'd be pretty neat. Like the defense of Riga, ''Death's island'', etc.
