One of my favorite games, i was incredible at flying in this game. Shooting ground troops and dropping bombs from the plane was so rewarding.

Yeah, flying was so much fun! I could do reasonably well in a plane, but I would usually struggle against the really good pilots.

This game was so fun, I only had the privilege of playing it a few times just recently last year and I am pretty sad that the servers have been shut down and regret not playing more.

I feel you, man. I actually have similar regrets. I started playing the game on PS3 when it came out in 2009. Played it casually for a few years, but then I had many years of not playing. Picked it up again in late 2022/early 2023 when I started making videos of the game (on Xbox this time). Even though I was lucky enough to experience 1425 matches on Xbox and 412 on PS3, I still wish I had more time with the game. There was still so much I wanted to do with the game, so many areas where I wanted to improve. Sigh, so many years where I could have played, but didn't. However, I'm really glad you got the opportunity to play this awesome game before it was too late. Maybe some day we will be able to play it again.

If we had a PC port, we probably would have been able to play on community servers as soon as the official servers shut down. The worst part is that they were working on a PC port, but it got cancelled! Such as shame.
