The best of all battlefields, the game had focus on clan battle which has completely died after battlefield 2142, Battlefield 1942 is right beside battlefield Vietnam and battlefield 2, those 3 game pwns every other battlefield games even combined. This game was the ultimative battlefield feeling. EA killed it and has now killed the whole battlefield concept and made to a FFA hell with unlimited snipers, battlefield 1942, Vietnam and bf2 had a better ballance, because they dident give the sniper such advantage like they have done in every other battlfields. Miss this time and game!

I felt the exact same man. Nothing after felt as fair/balanced after. All the aspects of its gameplay just fit together so well in this beautiful dance of rock-paper-scissors. Then from BC:2 onwards the whole game moved to this OP sniper meta, the number of classes cut down and the general depth of the game cut out. BF2 was far more deep than bf3, bf4, etc, despite having less weapons and upgrades and perks and all that unnecessary crap. I got into the top 200 for the spec ops kit. Even got an invite for the BF3 alpha program. Everything after was just so dumbed-down

@@miguelangelmorelmontero7354 I still play from time to time but jets are utterly dominant, more so than they used to be. Also servers feel a bit laggy when registering hits. That and the variety of populated maps is not that great and I cant seem to log into my old account so had to start from scratch and for some reason I don't level up anymore on BF2 Hub so I'm stuck with the basic weapons.

I remember spending like 3 minutes crossing my fingers hoping my game would make it through the 62% loading hangup without a CTD... my PC was a POS but i still had so much fun in that game.

Remember the anticipation on loading screens . I remember being commander and winning matches by a couple of tickets coming from behind. Remember sunday afternoons when the whole squad is off work and wrecking maps as a squad. This game is unplayable today, dominated by a handful of players with loads of hours, experience and tons of macros turn in into heli/jet havoc wreaked shitfest without admins to control toxic behaviours. I'd be the first one to buy a remaster of this game but without official servers with admins enforcing fair play (e.g time limit for anyone using tank/heli/anything that kills infantry in an eye blink) there's no hope for this game, it should just die off as it is.

I remember playing this on my athlon64 without a graphics card. Just barely playable at low settings. I remember cranking the settings once in a while, so I could witness the beautiful graphics with 0.5 frames per second. Good times... Might give it a try again with my now capable pc.

The servers in that video are official ranked. The 2F4Y.com server Levan is playing on did also exist in 2009 when BF2 was official for sale. Just search for BF2Hub.com, they rescued BF2 and still support the game with all official stats and servers :)

Today folks will complain about the radio spamming....🙄 Sigh.... This game was all about fun,getting killed numerous times by that one good guy or dying in a bizarre way or flying a heli knowing damn well you can't fly for sh1t and kill an entire squad.....but we are still good though because I can't fly and my stup1d azz will get in again in another 6min, spamming the radio or listening to that one guy on every map that has made his mission to spam the radio...😳😁😁 I miss what was called fun.....🥺🥺
