@@forgotmyname1242 BF 2042’s launch state was so bad that the people who sold cheats just gave up until later in its life. What’s the point of cheating if nothing works.

@@better-shotgun It was horrible at launch, agreed. But not totally unplayable. BF4 was so frequently plagued with server crashes in the beginning that it actually was straight up unplayable for about 2 weeks. The cheat scene giving up on 2042 was due to its abysmally low player-counts before S1 came out. But the game technically always worked, despite being heavily flawed.

AK74U's animations are just as bad/mediocre as the rest. It's just that before they "fixed" it, it was just laughably bad, now it's just on par with other animations which is just acceptable.

It's not fine per se - like if you compare this to something like BFV or even The Finals, 2042 fails in animations even though they nail the details.

The ACR in BF3, 4, and 2042 use the 6.5mm Grendel btw, which holds 26 rounds.

Feels like those guns go slowly just stiffer and stiffer animations or just worst... And i can clearly hear some sounds are also teken from "past" titles and re-used in a 2042 own guns as well.. Even Casings dosen't have "holes" xd

Common mistake on the M60E4, M240B, and even the M249 in Portal: they don't open from the rear and instead uses the same way the LCMG opens. Overall I'd say DICE nailed the weapon models compared to other shooters that often have to butcher them. Looking at you Cronen Squall, Tempus Razorback, and TAQ Evolvere. They even managed to include the key part of a grenade: the lever pin that pops off when a grenade is thrown.

I'm not exactly sure what it is, but something about these animations is really bad. The hand/gun movement looks super clunky or choppy and unnatural, not sure how to explain it but it almost looks what I would call it "cringy", similar to CoD Cold War reloads. I know for a fact that MW2019 just completely killed it with animations and probably made an unrealistically high standard for most of the FPS industry which is why these animations might seem worse to me than they actually are cause of MW2019 but I swear that BFV had better reloads than 2042.

You see most guns in battlefield 2042 or even BFV shares a same file for whatever caliber its used , its only different in characteristics (either mechanics or tail layers) . So i wouldn't say its different

@@kleni9616 Literally take a look at the destruction, the reflections on the weapons, how satisfying reload animation is, the sun glare, the uniforms and most importantly ATMOSPHERE and level design. Directly comparing BF2042 with BF1 you can see for every 1 step they took into a right direction like with Portal, they took 5 steps back.

Lots of gadgets.7. The developers are fixing the problems and shortcomings of the game, despite the fact that support has ended.8.A good and moderately balanced balance and ttk.9. The graphics are nice and beautiful, maybe a little worse, but I came here to play, not look at textures in 4k.10. No dls, this finished shit has finally been removed, and now everyone can play without leaving the lobby (the flip side of the coin of this system).11. Content from the game is available for free, including events and battlepass.13. A completely redesigned system of shootouts and team play.14. There is a lot to do here.15. And I would also add nothing to praise the developers, because they fucked up releasing slag, and then abruptly start fixing the game and saying the next game will be better, and the next one will be worse than the first several times and so we stay in this circle forever, but I hope that this horror will come to an end

I've noticed some inconsistency with how iron sights are rendered. Some of the rear sights are out of focus, which makes them easier to use, while others don't have any of the focus rendering going on, making the sights more messy. Odd.
