I’m new to battlefield because I’ve deleted it shortly after because it really sucked at release as we know. The Bf2042 comeback made me give it another try and I’m glad I did . I came back to realize how great this game has become. I purchased the game on its first day of release, but I haven't gotten the opportunity to play it yet. Today is August 6th, 2023, and I recently viewed your video that aided me in comprehending the game much better. As a Battlefield franchise enthusiast, particularly Battlefield 2 on PC and the other console versions, I'm thrilled to finally try this game out over the weekend. Decided to give BF 2042 a try for the first time during this free dec days. Infact this is my first battlefield game. It's super over whelming tbh while i understand a little bit more now thanks to this video but it's still a lot of modes and possibilities. Quite intimidating for a beginner to start this. Is conquest solo mode the best way to get an understanding of the game mechanics and to wet your feet. Also which specialist would you recommend for an absolute noob. Any help would be appreciated.

You can start in solo matches against bots and learn the game mechanics. Definitely gives you a bit more time than a normal multiplayer match. A good specialist to start with is Mackay or Angel I‘d say. Also Paik with her scanning ability is very useful at the beginning.

I just got the game and played a lot of BF3 & 4. I played one conquest game, got one kill, and died a billion times. Not used to maps is my biggest weakness right now. Any tips for maps is most welcome

Just take your time to explore the maps. You can jump into some solo matches against AI if you want to. Might make it a lot easier at the beginning. I would recommend Conquest cause you have access to more areas of the maps.

There is voice chat in the game but barely anyone is using it. Just check if you have it enabled from your side in the options and then audio. If yours is on then the others just don’t want to talk.

The only rocket launcher is the Recoilless M5. But there are also the teo missile launchers FXM and Javelin that need to lock-on to fire.

I have to say this no matter how my CJ it pains me. Before 2042 I had never played a normal shooter game. The closest was the PvZ shooter series. In which weapon accuracy is the same regardless of ADS which you can’t do cause it’s 3rd person. I thought every 2042 gun was bad because I didn’t know the difference ADS ing had on accuracy. No wonder I mained the shotgun for a long time
