The real gun had a recoil migration system it is basically mechanical system that shifted the recoil in the internals for physics to make it near zero as u fired it. Google and There's videos of the internals. As for Bf2402 well replicate the recoil being low on it.

It just outshines all other assault rifles in the game is what I’m saying. They also did the AK12 dirty as well

Sure real life wise people would prefer that over faster firing high recoil weapon and the ak-12 exactly does that, a long range gun with decent recoil and slow fire rate. Aek being the powerhouse it is it wouldn’t make sense to nerf the damage or mag size because it’s literally rocking 6L23 30 rounders(btw 2042 acwr is the one being bullied with poor damage on a mediocre firerate performance with only 27 rounds), the only way to balance aek is giving it bunch of bloom and if you use it right now in 2042 its quite hard to perform at long range. As far as realism depiction with balancing 2042 is doing a good job at keeping high fire rate powerhouse within medium to close range only

The only issue is that the Portal weapons don't feel entirely competitive with the main-game weapons. While I can run-and-gun with most of the LMGs from base game (fuck you PKP bullpup) the M240B and M60 just don't compare to their glory days.
