Hi Ravic, I have been following you since BF4 times... I am an average player; 700+ hours but still an average player as I am not (and cannot) a committed player (Don't ask me if 700+ hours are indeed commitment or not; that's different :) ). NTW with this scope is my bread and butter. I love it. It makes you to be agile, fast and accurate because it has high risk/reward system: if you hit your target, it is 1 shot kill but if you cannot hit in 1v1, the long rechambering mechanic of the bullet makes you sit in ducks with I don't know 3 seconds? But the satisfaction of 1 shot kill is insane, at least for me. Also, using it smells like *Kar98k* in Call of Duty 2 multiplayer rooms :D I was a more Thompson and MP44 guy but yeah... It feels nostalgic and manly and it makes you more sharp while playing. This (and the previous video) makes me very happy and excited because as an old guy, one of my *idols* in this game chose to play like me for once (twice actually, if you count that video too)! So, thank you, mate. And teacher... As I've learned railing pilots from you ;)

Alright, I know you'll have a similar response to the last guy who talked about Venice Unleashed, but any thoughts (just thoughts) about the Warsaw Revamp for BF4?

Their Twitter account mentions "advanced anti-cheat and anti-DDoS layer". I would be very curious to know what they mean by that considering NFO servers already had anti-DDoS for their servers many years ago. Also if it's a mod it can't be using PunkBuster or any commercial anti-cheat so "advanced anti-cheat" is an interesting claim. It's a unofficial mod so it's popularity will be limited meaning only the people living in the past and those that refuse to adapt to anything new will likely play it but no one else will bother going through all the steps to find and install it. It's cool someone cares that much to figure out and edit an existing game to do more. I hope it lands them a job since that takes considerable effort and time.

Weird question but Ravic have you ever tried fumbling around with the mouse priority in your PC registry? Setting it to certain values seems to improve the overall mouse responsiveness in 2042, considering how CPU intensive the game is.

Yes but changing that doesn't effect what people claim is wrong with the game regarding input it just affects overall latency which depending on the setup or system can have little effect in actual use and in some cases have negative side effects. Like with any "tweaks" I tend to recommend avoiding them if possible if one plans to play at events or tournaments at some point in the future. Mainly because they would never allow you to make said tweaks on tournament or event PCs so it would require more to adjust to and feel comfortable with since it would feel greatly different from your home setup. If you never plan on doing that kind of stuff tweak away as much as you want but I recommend documenting what changes you make and the dates you make them so if you run into an issue with the OS, game, or other software you'll be able to go back through and see if any changes/tweaks might be the cause.

@@Ravic In my personal experience the differences between each value are quite noticeable, some make the mouse feel less weighted and help with recoil control while others make it much snappier, great for single shot weapons but bad for tracking, etc. I never realized it isn't allowed at tournaments tho. I thought it was pretty much the same as using configs or mouse driver settings. Then again, I barely squeeze past 3.5 total kd so probably won't be receiving invites to tournaments anytime soon, guess I'll just suit myself.

@@zerophoenix8312 "less weighed" "snappier", that is just varying states of overall latency. It might be shifting where the bottleneck is but it's still the same type of effect. Tournaments usually restrict what files you can load if they even allow that and I don't know of any that would ever let a player touch a PC's registry. The idea of tournament machines is everyone is playing on the same exact level of equipment ( excluding peripherals ), the second someone is allowed to change something in the registry they are no longer on the same setup/PC as everyone else at the tournament. They do let you access things like Nvidia control panel though but software for mice is usually installed in advanced by the staff. I haven't seen an event PC that didn't have some form of software that locks or restricts what the person can access on it ( blocking access to file explorer, etc. ) and often times the PC itself is locked in some cabinet that restricts physical access. This is done to prevent anyone from copying early or less restricted builds of games like builds designed for lan.
