Mental health is like a ticking time bomb, the best way to deal with it is to not hide it away , talk about it , I spent years trying to hide it because I was afraid what people would think about me , don't just hide it away because it doesn't get any better . I want more maps to be remastered but into the base game, not into Portal. BF2042 has FAR too few maps for the base game, and because we don't have persistent servers (really DICE?) we often play the same maps multiple times in a row. We need more maps for 2042, even remasters/ports of other BF maps, and because they are automatically included in Portal, that's a no-brainer.

I like Rush 2042 a lot too, problem is the exp balance, you can play 5 rounds of RUSH 2042 and get as much exp as you get in a SINGLE game of breakthrough, after rank 80 you need 100k exp for single rank up, I'm at 87 and i need about 140k exp to rank up.... Of course once i reach 99 i won't care, but right now i want those rank 90+ vehicle and specialist skins, some of them are pretty cool.

There's a bug where downed enemies can still arm the objective. Besides that happening more and more though, Rush is the best time I've had with the game. It'd be fantastic if we could get some vehicle combat in their as well like in BF3!

@@garrettnobles8956 It worked out in BF3. Usually there'd be one heavy, one heli; and it'd create an interesting dynamic when they were up. With the way 2042's vehicle spawning works, they'd have to have a global cooldown instead, to mimic how BF3's rush worked, but there's no reason vehicles simply being present would be annoying. We *are* still talking about Battlefield right? The game known for infantry + vehicle warfare?

Rush is my favorite mode in 2042 right now, it plays really well! But they need to adjust the xp earned per match, it's too low right now imo. I hope they make it a permanent playlist!

Super People has nailed what the 2042 Specialists should have been. Character creation and ability skill sets are totally separate. No annoying personalities, unrelatable characters, or out of place lame dialogue. The player creates the character, the game provides the specialist kit.

We get experience to unlock weapons and items unlocked from level progression. Kills by specific guns do not level up the unlock trees for the gun attachments in portal. Jack.

In Portal and in Solo/Co-op modes can only rank up a weapon to 390 kills max. It will cap out there and then have to play the normal game more to continue the tier progression. That is the way it has been for me, maybe it will get released in portal because I like playing HC modes.

some people don't like certain maps. Other prefer attacking. I think the reason for higher priority with maps is for developers? I don't think a choice of maps and attacking/defending should be added, but if it provided a choice for 2 in three games defending/attacking it should change maps a bit more often, and maybe a choice for preferred maps?

This mode needs to be PERMANENT outside of Portal (or remove XP limit on "official modes"). I look forward to 64 player maps and modes. Seems like 128 is too much for their servers and netcode. 32 player rush is far more smooth and hit detection is GREAT and almost on par with COD/Warzone. I have a feeling that BF 2042 will be one of the best BF games over time. Tons of stuff incoming.

As a indie game developer: Rush was always a great and fun mode tonplay. This mode works also better in 2042, because huge maps are not flooded with 128 players gather actually at two points within small radius if you compare it with one other mode. But still the 2042 maps are unbalanced. It tends to be that attacker most of the time win pretty quickly. My playgroup (4 player me included) noticed that in now over than 25 played matches altogether, both playing as defender and attacker, defender has won one time! That could be an unlikely coincidence or just lazy level design, as we probably might have expected from dice right now. So I would disagree @jackfrags. Rush isn’t incredible yet in 2042.

The wingsuit definitely needs a little adjusting for sure, like you shouldn't be able to deploy it from the height it is right now, it's too low from the ground. Also you can literally fly and cancel the wingsuit with insane speed onto the ground but no damage is taken, feel like that should also be changed so you have to be more careful when landing.
