5:37 I kid you not. There was an achievement for BF3 that required you to hit all the lights without missing a shot. I spent so long on that. Was super obnoxious. BF3 was one of the first games I 100% the achievements including DLC. The COOP campaign was fairly fun as well. I remember a glitch in the helicopter mission. Where you can land in the river and it will kick you out of the helicopter and let you run around as a bodyless soldier. Edit: OMG! I just remembered reading the BF3 book. Gamestop rewards allowed you to redeem your points and get the book. So I did. I thought that was such a good book. 6th or 7th grade me thought it was super cool. I still have the book. It follows the Russian dude and his journey to stop the terrorist attack. I really got to wonder how well it would hold up now.

It is one of the hardest games to play if you do it on hard difficulty two bullets out of nowhere and your dead. Not to mention the incredibly dark atmospheres of some of the levels. Like when you’re clearing the basement of the mansion. Or clearing out that apartment building in the middle of the night. Death around every corner but very realistic. Well the gameplay wasn’t all that good I do think that the sheer difficulty of it makes it somewhat of a good game because when you beat it you actually feel like you achieved something.

@@ab-vq3yy Bad Company is a console only game made in 2007, it had vehicles, scenarie destruction and sandbox maps, want more? Arma Armed Assault was released in 2006 and Operation Flashpoint in 2002, and both of these are fps sandbox, and in 2001 Battlefiled 1942 was released, and had a single player with open maps and a lot of vehicles, this game had 64 bots working togheter and fighting using the game mechanics. So, stop being a stupid fanboy, this isnt techinical limitation, its just following the trends of its time, Battlefiled 3 campaign is a complete shame, its hard even to call it a game when its almost a b movie interactive.

It's amazing how much the engine and the "let's hope that the player will never take a moment to look around" carries this campaign. I replayed it recently and where should I start...destruction is very limited, to the point it might as well be like COD (ironically in the MP it's quite good), speaking of COD...at least in MW objects were 3D and could be hit and stuff while in BF 3 they are either static clatter or 2D (boxes, items in stores and such) that aren't affected by bullets unless they are things that count as cover, guns on the floor don't show you what attachments they have. There's some hilarious glitches like a machinegun firing even after it's user dies, vehicles popping out of existence or badly hidden stuff like if you fight the guys firing at you in a early Iran mission you then get shot by imaginary guns. And then there's the annoying stuff like your loadout reseting to default after death, insta kills and game over timers if you don't do things exactly as the game wants (what made my eyes roll was failing by sniping a guy before I jump over the wall but the game asking me to do exactly that the moment I jumped over the wall) and enemies insta killing you if you turn your back on them for a second. The story itself is kinda all over the place too. Almost no characters, It tries to be more realistic than modern warfare but sometimes stuff happen that make exaggerated moments in modern warfare look more believable.

Battlefield 3 and bad company 2 had the best multiplayer. out of the Battlefield imo alongside Battlefield 2 and 2142 the rest not so much as for campaign Battlefield bad company 1 and 3 had the best campaign. bad company 2 was solid . after that though the rest were terrible campaign and average multiplayer imo
