High ticket golmud, passive radar, 30mils, stealh coating, ecms. Shoot the missles before locking on about 600m out, leaving enemy jets no time to react. Up close only use 30 mils. USE EXTERNAL VIEW.

Personally I think it's much easier to get jet ribbons on conquest maps. You can kill anyone 5 times and get the ribbon. It doesn't have to be a vehicle. It's just 5 kills while in a jet on 1 map.

You dont have to use the stealth jet or do it on air superiority. Play attack jet on Paracel and harass attack boats. They're big and slow in the open. With no unlocks for attack jet, I did it easily in one round of conquest large.

Tip: If you want to try and get the jet fighter ribbons, go on paracel storm (conquest large) and run the default load out for the attack jet. What I did was fly around until I saw an attack boat getting taken down so I swoop in and take the kill with my missiles. I managed to get 4 jet fighter ribbons in one round with this tactic

You do NOT need 3 jetfighter ribbons in air superiority, you just need 3 jet fighter ribbons which is five kills per ribbon with ANYJET in a round. Get it right guys, you're giving bad information. All you need from the air superiority is one win. The UCAV, does NOT reload with the ammo bag, it is a one minute regeneration cycle. You guys sound like noobs.

Even easier solution for the Jet Fighter Ribbon........ level up at Air Superiority (to get the proper kit), and kill enemies in Conquest. It only says 'kill enemies with a Jet' (doesnt't matter who you kill, just kill). -Only problem would be that others may spam the aircrafts very often-

You don't need to play Air Superiority to get the 3 ribbons, just do what I did and use the air to ground jets in a map such as Rogue Transmission. Those are much easier to get kills with than the next to useless stealth jets!

Guys, there's nothing that says you have to get the kills in Air Superiority. Go to Golmud, Paracel, somewhere with a lot of easy target ground vehicles and fighter jets. Equip Laser guided, hop in a jet, focus on atv's, jet ski's, boats, jeeps, etc. I unlocked my UCAV in one round of conquest large, running laser guided.

3x scope on the 1911 makes a great back up especially when you're running with a CQB weapon as your primary. I was head shot sniping recons with the M1911 3x! It was funny as hell & actually very useful.

I didn't even know about the 3X Scope for the M1911. A few weeks after I unlocked the gun, I just started messing around with the attachments to see if anything was unlocked. Sure enough, there it was. For a moment I thought I was given some sort of "DICE Appreciation" for doing something special in the game. Regardless of what I thought, I love it. A few quickly placed rounds on an unsuspecting target will take them down nicely. I can't wait to actually get sneaky with it once I unlock a silencer.

I FINALLY GOT IT!! YEEEAAAHHHHHH!! Really wasn't that hard. My tips: Default rockets, 25mm, Ecm jammer, Stealth coating. Air superiority If there is a jet on your tail, Do flips, turn on ecm, then turn away. He'll loose you. ALWAYS FLY IN 3RD PERSON (I did anyway, seemed a lot easier) I got it after about 50 jet kills. (altogether) Took about 5 hours :P Good luck!!

Do it on conquest large. Pascal storm. Use the attack jets if u don't have the guided missle. Blow up boats, jetskis, stationary guns,tanks. Easy kills. Takes 2 to 3 matches depending on the dbags that constantly shoot u down

I wish they would have gone over the airburst unlock for the UCAV as well. You can detonate it in the air and it's pretty effective. Far more effective with the airburst upgrade.

RSA Car to get 5 kills per match just use 25mm , active radars and EXENGUNISHER! NOT ECM OR FLARES. you just dont have time to use counetmesauers at radars. Hit enemy with 1-2 rockets and kill him with a 25mm

On console you need to get 45 kills with the 1911 in order to get a trophy, and I got those kills using the 3X scope (which I didn't even know until now that it was a fan appreciation item) and I didn't think it was bad at all. I actually had a lot of fun with it.

i think someone might have already said this but another way for someone to unlock the ucav is after getting the air superiority ribbion you can get into an attack jet or a stealth jet you can use the laser guided missiles and hope your luck that we can get kills.

The 20mm does 1 damage to jets per hit, assuming all of your bullets hit. This adds to 2000 damage per minute, assuming all your shots hit. The 25mm does 2 damage per hit, is more accurate than the 20mm ( in bullet spread) but has a fire rate of about 1000rpm. This goes to 2000 dpm, but at a higher accuracy than the 20mm, and also having the ability to hit light armor( LAV, AA, etc). The 30mm hits for 3 damage her hit, at 700rpm, with the highest accuracy of all other weapon options. This statistically makes the 30mm have a dpm of 2100 making it the statistically best primary. I prefer the 25mm myself.

what i did to get the 3x scope was (this only works for xbox i think) was search battlefield 4 on the dashbord and find the weapon shortcuts and just bought the pistol shortcut.

You don't have to kill jets you can go on the Conquest maps and take out snipers and boat with the passive radar missiles. aim for the jet skis or the dinghys to get a guaranteed kill/multi kill.

For stealth jets, use the 20mm cannon because it does tons of damage on air vehicles such as helis and planes. The 25 and 30 mm don't do sufficient damage on ground vehicles so they are pointless.

The best way for me was to play rogue transmission, jump in the attack jet and use the laser guided missiles to destroy enemy occupied vehicles. I had the ucav by the end of the day. The only thing that might slow you down is when you have someone in a jet coming after you.

I found that the base UCAV unlock tricky at first but managed to unlock it on a different account in one AS game (I went 20:3 or something like that) but I think it was a fluke. Getting the Airburst Warehead was the bigger pain in the arse.

experimented jet pilots use 20mm laser guided and ecm jammer (In conquest) in air superiority is the same but changing the laser guided for an active radar

the m1911 s tac was the wepon with the most kills in bf3 with over 1100 kills :D

I got the 3x Scope for the M1911 from the Veteran Battlepack, which you get by playing BF3

You have to get kills with a jet. Doesn't have to be air to air kills. Unlike guided missile and take out jeeps or bikes. So much easier than air to air kills.

you can put a suppressor on a revolver, but it would be useless. revolvers dont have a sealed chamber, so the sound of the gun firing comes from the chamber and the barrel, instead of just the barrel

Well first off the 5 kills in a jet wasn't just for air superiority, you can get those kills in any conquest map.(just farm the gunships), and for the air superiority ribbon just do Guilin peaks and become a gunner

You can use the attack jet on any map and just keep killing the Gunship to get the ucav BTW.

You don't need to get the ribbons with the Stealth jet.. You can use the Attack jet. It's a lot easier.

Its very late I know but for those that still need the ribbons..try to hunt attack boats as a attack jet, in my opinion this is the easiest way to get them
