Number one tip to start improving positioning in battlefield: ALWAYS move from cover to cover. Edit: it should go like this: 1.) sprint to cover 2.) clear the area of enemies (if its already clear you can move on sooner) 3.) look for the next closest piece of cover that gets closer to your objective and sprint there ASAP Repeat this for as much as you want and do this as fast as you want.

@@vaselinesoldier1778 which is ALWAYS. You can’t predict every single move someone makes(unless you got cheats). By always moving cover to cover you have an out for every surprise thrown at you. Max does it pretty often in the gameplays and gets great results.

@Greg paul he’s not always in the open you just don’t recognize that he’s doing it. Of course you can play aggressively but cover STILL plays a factor (even if their aim is bad they can still get lucky and cover removes that luck from them). And part of closing in and catching people off guard is because the environment hid you in the first place. He is doing it you just don’t see it yet.

Great tips! Most people think that with good aim and movement you’re gonna easily rule but sometimes it’s a little more complex than that

I think important to distinguish between tactical position and strategic position... one position you can best defend yourself and conceal you from enemies who know you are there/come in your direction (like sandbags on top of bridge at C) and the other position to allow you to attack enemies going for their objective (C point/your team on other side) without them knowing you are there so you can pick them off.

Keep it up! Positioning and angles, how to move and why you move this way. Why you decided to slide out vs lean and slow peak are good things. Just dissect some clips with Why, When and How. This is the stuff I've waiting for. Because these tactics go far beyond Battlefield and can be used in all games. Especially positioning and angles. What can your weapon do? When to push and try to flank vs holding and how long you should hold. When you should run and when it's best to engage. 🤙 Even some scrim breakdowns would be cool for those 1v1 vs 1vX tactics.

There is still one thing I would like to know, how do you manage to kill enemies covered in a smokescreen? Because I honestly don't know where to look, I always run past them (without seeing them) and I end up dying....a lot. Can't wait for more tips !

Typically smoke is tossed on dead enemies so medics can revive them "safely"... you cannot see them mostly, but you can see the bags the dead enemies dropped. So you know where the dead guys are approximately, and you know when they get revived when the bags disappear. Also, listen for footsteps, "I got you soldier", etc. Shoot.

That’s where map knowledge comes in too. You have to know what the map looks like and where people are going to be if they’re “hiding” behind the smoke. Ex. Behind a car, on a ledge, in a building window…

you say all this like it matters bc the squads im in are worse than useless, my whole team likes to push e/f while a and b are lost, and 99% of my deaths are from planes or tanks, and when i do get to shoot somebody i hit them 6 times with an M1 Garand and it dosent kill them 👍
