I love this weapon! By far my favorite Assault weapon. So much fun to use once you get that trigger finger. Don't need no automatic assault rifle to get the job done, just give yourself an M1A1 and you'll be off slaying.

Since very few people will be able to maximize the semi auto rate of fire while simultaneously maintaining accuracy, the ttk is deceptive and I don't use the gun strictly because I don't find it likely that I'll maximize the value of the gun. The 360 rpm semi auto assault rifles are much easier to maximize value with. As the m1a1 is a bit closer ranged compared to many of the other semi autos, the closest alternative for its role is the gewehr 1-5, which I feel is a more practical choice.

Quite similar, though the increase value stacks per shot fired, so each shot usually generates a tiny bit more recoil than the last

What is this new increase of recoil over time thing? Is it generally proportional based on the recoil of the weapon, or is it based on weapon class? Maybe do a vid on some new mechanics introduced?

The vertical recoil increase value is extra recoil applied on top of the base vertical recoil value (for shots fired after the first), it also stacks as more bullets are fired in continuous streams, so basically weapons with lower vertical recoil increase values perform better when being fired in longer streams (also depending on rof) bit complicated but generally... the lower the better

The M1 Carbine fired the .30 Carbine (7.62×33mm) round, whereas the M1 Garand fired the more powerful .30-06 Springfield (7.62×63mm) cartridge

Just some more facts about the M1 carbine. When it came to trophy weapons, the M1 carbine was prized among the German soldiers. Also, after the war, there were plenty of M1 carbines (along with many other weapons) left all over Europe. Austria and Germany scooped these up and used them for various law enforcement agencies. I recently purchased a 1943 Inland M1 carbine that was used by the Bavarian Forestry Police for border patrols, and possibly by Austria considering the sloppy stamping on the receiver, so it may have changed hands more than once. Just have to wait for the background check and waiting period before I can take it home. Anyways, Kris, I don't like bf5, but I love your videos! Especially the small history segment you put in!

i swear the M1A1 was originally intended for the medic and later on shoehorned into assault it would fit the medic a hell of a lot better then assault since they seem to be more in the back then ever half the time.... Everything just screams an original medic-idea recoil, BTK, ROF it performs just like nothing the assault has.....
