Sorry to hear one of your favorite game franchises is dead, been there myself and it’s depressing. So much wasted potential with this series. If you get a chance, you should check out Hell Let Loose. The game has some issues but it's a really great fps made by people who were inspired by the original Battlefield games and subsequent mods.

BF5 didn't even have the M1 Garand in it until like 1 year into the game being out. And they removed hardcore mode so you give your position away as soon as you hit someone.

@@JosephVice Yeah I liked playing BF4. Hardline wasn't terrible but no one plays it, it seems. I liked Bad Company 2 about the best, especially the Vietnam map pack but that one got like Hardline where there was no one on it.
