In case anyone was wondering, the joke for the sniper was that it was broken when the episode aired and almost never let players pick it up. So the 100 just casually picking it up and using it is also part of the joke.

I’m actually having that problem in 2042. One of my sniper buddies in Portal got killed and I wanted to pick up his No. 4. I tried for like a solid minute, but nope. Couldn’t pick it up. Few minutes later I killed a dude and was able to pick up his Stg 44 without a problem!

I just noticed that not only is the colonel 100 killing guys in other maps but for another level they are in a completely different game mode. He is in hardcore mode but because the enemies he killed had the red markers over their heads they obviously are not. Never noticed this till now.

@@themaniac7090 Machinima wouldn't let them, it was the big video game cinema station of it's time, you wanted your vid to get popular and generate substantial revenue, you needed to sign on with Machinima who would upload your video to their channel and part of the proceeds would go to them in exchange. Kind of like trying to publish a book, you could self-publish but without having a wide enough circle, your vid would fall into obscurity so you go to a publishing company that will take a cut of the books revenue. Except Machinima became a monopoly on machinima making and became really scummy with its practices, paying extremely late or not at all and listing annoying requirements like schedules for work they had no involvement in. Obviously people got sick of the mistreatment and cut their contracts with Machinima which lead them to pull more shitty practices to milk their remaining content creators until they had enough, eventually all the machinima makers quit and Machinima became a redundant gaming vlogging channel without any charm or popular characters and couldn't keep up with the costs of maintaining a business and ultimately ended up being bought out on the condition of deleting every video that was put on the channel.

It was horrible. Glad it's dead. It started of with such good intentions, being gamers and friends getting together to make videos for gamers, and become a cut throat business that screwed over EVERYONE and ANYONE. MCNs were a mistake as well. All scams.

@@MShazarul Colonel is way too much OP he breaks game rules. He first unlocked a bipod for his knife. Now he unlocked a bipod for his bipod. In normal Battlefield games you gain points by killing enemies or completing objectives, with those leveling up points you can unlock new weapons or weapon accessories. A bipod is usually designed for balancing the aim for long range weapons. But as a part of the joke Colonel's knife, which is not a gun, but a close range weapon has a bipod. Now he has a bipod for his bipod. Cuz, he's good.

1:25 Technically speaking, you _can_ still spot in Hardcore mode. You still get points for spot assists, and if you pull up the map (big map by hitting the M key on PC), the spotted enemies still show up on it. You just don’t see the visual indicator on your HUD.

Throwback to that gag about the Colonel picking up that sniper rifle. In BF4, there were certain weapons you could only use by picking them up in the map. So for THE LONGEST TIME, there was a bug where you simply couldn't pick the damn things up, especially that sniper in particular. So here comes the Colonel picking it up with ease, squashing the bug himself. I remember that got a big laugh out of me way back when.

God this reminds me of my experience in Battlefield 1 Hardcore so much. I had so many games where I got team killed right next to my team, and it boiled over when my friend said "Hey go take the objective I'll keep you covered" to which I respond "If I get team killed again I'm uninstalling this game and never playing it again" and he immediately shoots me in the head as soon as I got on the point. I've never touched Battlefield 1 again after that
