Takes me back to my teenage years. This was my first Battlefield game and had a unique campaign despite its flaws. The OST by Rupert Gregson-Williams is underrated btw

I think the main reason for the clunky sensitivity and controls is because of the fact that you're playing the PS2 version. I usually play it on the 360 version and the controls are smooth but still have that old gen jank to them.

I fucking LOVED this game on the Xbox 360. I used to play BF 1942 on the PC and this was the one that came to the 360. Man what a game, that first snow mission with sniping was so hard on the highest diffucuilty.

Apparently, there are some servers on the PCSX2 emulator. And yeah, there's a lot of games like SOCOM I never experienced the multiplayer for and everyone tells me it was great

Same for Delta Force Black Hawk Down on PS2. It had up to 32 players running around in online multiplayer.

Recently played through this game. Thought it was fun, but I prefer the 2 Battlefield Bad Company games. Lots of FPS games went for T ratings back then for some reason. We did get some banger M rated FPS games too.
