Despite all the wonderful memories I still remember that night when we were making What If Girls Were in Minecraft. It was the third day of shooting, maybe 2 a.m., and everyone was just on edge. Failboat was totally spent, hours of missed takes and technical problems had pushed him way past his breaking point. You could see it in his face. he was furious. Then, something just snapped. Failboat had a Complete Meltdown on set. Peeing Enderman’s stunt double had to be rushed to the ER. The whole set went dead silent, like we couldn’t believe what we’d just seen. After that, things changed. We still got the video done, but there was this strange tension hanging over us the rest of the shoot. Looking back, it’s surreal thinking the audience has no clue that even happened.

ExplodingTNT was a consistent part of my childhood at one point, there was nothing like watching a ExplodingTNT video infront of my Xbox in the afternoon or in the evening, or while using my dad’s pc at my Grandma’s house back in like 2017-2018, being 8-9 years old or when me and my mom first moved into our apartment that we still are in today, I would damn near always watch his videos on her ipad that she would give to me back in 2018, since we didn’t have a TV yet or a big amount of furniture like couch. ExplodingTNT and other creators that posted skits and videos in minecraft were a MAGNET for me (GoldenBucket was another one, there were others but I forgot) I remember my Grandma (Rip to her, I miss you.) that has always been beside me during my graceful childhood experiences, would bring me food, (mostly ice cream) as I watched and it was one of the best feelings ever. Never ever got bored, never ever clicked off, always enjoyed a video. I remember you creeper 😭 back when I was watching you were ALWAYS in the credits, 9 times out of 10 and I began noticing and I was like “this guy again? woah” I want to thank you for being apart of my childhood, helping TNT with his videos, everything. It bitter sweet seeing his era on KZbin come to a sun set but it is better to leave when people remember you than making content into oblivion. I do not think there will be another ExplodingTNT as I think his content still remains to be the most unique in Minecraft. How many content creators can you say you waited for a voice reveal for and meant it?

While I am glad Failboat is still holding up, it's sad how out of all the main cast of TNT and his friends, Failboat is the only one left behind. Given how TNT won a KZbin award in 2022 despite not uploading anything, I hope one day he comes back. Thank you for making this. In the off chance TNT, Pink Sheep, or anyone else in the squad are reading this, thank you for everything, and even though you probably won't upload anything now, we all still miss you and hope you will one day return and bring the same joy that you once brought people like me to newer viewers and the old ones who still eagerly await your return.

His videos were nostalgic for me and the 1.7 videos and editing style felt brand new and fresh for me at the time and still feel fresh today. I wouldn't get Minecraft PC until 6th grade and couldn't play it until I got my first gaming PC in 7th grade, so these videos were a great window into the things I was missing out on PE. Thanks for the video, it's great seeing the community of the actors from what looked like years of fun every friday.

Explodingtnt was a big part of my childhood and i still watch his classic vids to this day, never get old. I have a few questions about the acting and things: 1. Why is it when the scene is focused on one character or just one character is talking, everyone else is frozen? Like, nobody else moves except the focus character. Thought it was weird seeing how there is multiple actors. 2. (My oldest question) How was mob acting done? mods to morph as sheep and skeletons? commands? 3. How were scenes in which a ton of TNT randomly blew up done? (and cleaned up?) 4. How did you guys do dimension episodes? like the diamond dimension, where the whole world was diamonds
@ImSomethingSpecialАй бұрын
1. It's just a lot easier. Every acting session was only done in the mc chat, no VC, so it'd have been extremely difficult to coordinate stuff like that. 2. There's a plugin called Libsdisguised and it's how all the acting was done. You can change to any mob or player in the game, no skin changing needed. 3. Usually, you'd use a plugin called world edit to put a bunch of TNT under something and someone would light it. It was repaired with the core protect plugin which could roll back time. Of course, for a long time we lost the plugin so we'd just either copy the build elsewhere with worldedit or make duplicates. 4. Resource pack editing. It's actually insanely easy and anyone on Java can do it. The actors would NEVER see the "dimensions" because only TNT would have his altered version of a resource pack. Diamonds or normal blocks though? Just use worldedit to change every block in a biome.

That and a certain someone in my life kept trying to ensure I didn't watch TNT's videos in the first place but it never stopped me. I could kind of see TNT's videos were eventually gonna stop coming but when I was younger I thought it'd go on and on forever, I loved watching his channel and seeing the spin offs like Pink Sheep, Purple Shep, and ItsLiz. I always wondered by the black hoodie guy with headphones referred to as Creeper321448 on the wiki was seemingly showing up a lot and now I know. This just popped up in my feed and all I can say is... wow. Watched till the end and really, i felt the passion for those videos. And the passion to make others learn the ways to becoming actors is really amazing and wholesome :D I like that... I like that a lot, I watched those videos as early as I played Minecraft for the first time on my WII U. And they were also a way for younger me to learn english, as I'm french. You've all shaped what I am now, and shaped many, many other individuals. It's a-mazing to see something as bright and wonderful as this while the world is currently struggling with drama hatred and sadness. Much of this felt like it was in advance for it's time. And I respect that a ton. I am not actor, nor at all affiliated to anyone behind all this. And i'm ok with that. This is indeed Something Special, to me, and to many others.
