I agree. It gives me goosebumps and for some unknown reason provokes a heavy sense of nostalgia to the past for me and the family I’ve lost, it’s makes me happy and sad and that’s why I love it. It’s hopeful yet desperate much like 1945 Germany. I hope we get a new BF game that kept everything good about battlefield 3, 4, 1, and 5 such as the last tiger. Especially after the Disaster of BF2042 which is insulting compared to the last tiger. I did not play this game at launch. I thought it was going to be bad based of what my friends had told me. But I wish I did so I could of experienced this war story sooner.

When ever I hear the end music it makes me feel more human, it reminds me what soldier had to go through on both sides, it reminds of their Duty, Valor, and Sacrifice. There are no bad sides in war only soldiers fighting for their country because of the will of their corrupted governments.

Hartmann probably went back to the HQ because tank crew leave him, and mistaken as deserted then executed. He did his best go get there just want to wait his tank crew and commander, but executed instead. Peter probably survived. "I was there" dead men tell no tales. Gunshots is from American soldier, or from Schroeder but missed after getting hit my enemy if you hear it as MP40 sound. Aiming to his commander for a while give American chance to kill him. Peter may be only wounded if the kid shot him.

If my memory serves me correctly, near the end of the war I think most German soldiers tried to escape and flee and also surrender to the Allied forces.
