Well done example of why situational awareness is of utmost importance. At around the 15-16m those guys thought they were going to flank you, but you were ready for them. It is so easy to be in a tank and just be focused on what’s directly in front of your gunsight and not anticipate an enemy engineer flanking you especially if they’re not in your line of sight. This was always a very tough map for me because I feel like the town is a death trap for tanks. But hanging back far enough from the action, not barreling in towards objectives, so you can engage from long range, and watching your flanks is how you stay alive 👍

Yeah, here you can never know from which corner someone is gonna pop out. The tactic I usually use for the town part is that I push together with infantry(although slightly behind them) and clean the way in front of them so that they can push towards the objective more easily. That way I can at least keep some of my flanks safe while still helping with capturing the objectives.

When you watch the video it really looks obvious, but while you're playing you have so many different things to worry about, both around you and in the distance, that you sometimes just forget to even look at the ground and watch out for mines haha

@@davisgallauresi5812 BATTLEFIELD devs like: lets give a WW2 tank a billion HP to weight ratio, unlimited turret traverse speed and oh don't forget full reverse gears for Shermans, they definitely known for their reverse speed. i know battlefield is an arcade shooter, but still its jarring.
