Thank you so much, at some point I think they used this kind of grenades on rifle as well but these grenades were mainly used as anti personal mines planted near trees or as regular trowing grenades :D

I could say the same thing, I remember when I learned in school about World War and it was something interesting but i couldn't see the real scale of the events. Thank you so much sir, we always put safety first and never work with active ammunition but this was unusual find and it was empty. I cleaned it with oxalic acid and there is still a little bit of paint on it.

Well Romania just switched sides to Allies in '44. We kinda played ping pong and we had to pay a lot of money back for this thing but we tried to lower the casualties. Good or a bad thing it was not our war and we were just in the middle and we sided with those who already conquered us.

Yes I'm in Romania, Legally if you are not Romanian resident it is impossible to use a metal detector here because you need special authorization from the police to be able to own a metal detector.
