Battlefront 2 Tutorials #3 - 17 Lightsaber Hero/Villain Bugs (And Things to Look Out For)

Hello there. A bit of an unusual video for a tutorial series, but I guarantee it's worth watching, as unfortunately bugs and weird mechanics play a big part in lightsaber combat. For example, you could be doing really well in a 1v1 when all of a sudden your character glitches out for no reason and you end up losing to your opponent. Very frustrating. However, I hope that this video opens your eyes to some of the bugs present in lightsaber combat (there are FAR more bugs than in this video), and it allows you to recognise some situations that could cause a bug, thus helping you avoid a potential disaster. However, keep in mind that some bugs are unavoidable and just happen randomly. So it's just a bit of luck as well

Thanks for the video, sadly i have known about all these... My least favorite is the saber hit boxes due to servers being typical EA servers I have honestly quit playing a lot due to this issue...

There is also times that character's (every unit and heroes) randomly jump when you're in a cliff (dogging is more noticeable). Also dogging sometimes doesn't work especially on ability even if you time it right, and there's also the problem that the dogge teleport you back we're you were. And when dogging behind a light saber character the saber launch sometimes lock on you or the opponent behind

3 More Bugs/Tricks that Ive seen as well Luke and Anakins Intensify and Steamroll can get maxed out just by ledging one person, if you can manage that it makes them op from the get go Mauls First Star Card (forgot the name) Has a secret attribute that will reduce 60% of damage while maul is using his dash attack. If Anakin use retribution and immediately jumps, it’ll cancel his retribution animation but keep the damage reduction for I think 5 or ten seconds. This makes him a pain to fight if they use this repeatedly

It seems to be only when Kylo is around that the blocks don't work he can hit you twice before you actually start blocking anything!

Sometimes when you play Kylo in co-op and you pull enemies, they will continue firing accurately at you while flying towards you.

Ever since the Scarif update, I'm constantly experiencing this bug with Darth Maul's lightsaber throw where it just gets stuck somewhere and Maul is just swinging without it. It seems that it's purely visual, and Maul still does the same damage, but it takes another several swings or another use of lightsaber throw/spin attack for the lightsaber to reappear in his hands

Grievous thrust surge can be used while blocking. You need to face your camera ~30° to the left, away from your opponent. (Or to the right if you switched camera perspective)

The Force powers not ragdolling the enemies are buffed by officers and don't get ragdolled that's why. It's not Luke, Kylo and etc that don't work it's because they got buffed.

grievous has not only all the bugs that you have mentioned but also other like the damage of relentless advance which are not there and if it is the damage zone is random, the thrust loads it at times just teleports us to the opponent and leaves us paralyzed for 2 s which is dangerous when complaining about fighting, claw rush when it is also breaking it does not give the second damage hit when we finish it and no longer makes anyone fall almost all the time. is a shame that grievous is so much bug out that he is probably the hero with the best abilities in the game

Maul is just so broken, if you dash or spin then block you will show the animation but won't actually be blocking, sometimes maul just cant use his abilities, maul teleports using spin, mauls hit detection is broken for his spin and also if you hit just after dashing, mauls choke doesn't throw, mauls lightsaber doesn't come back, also they should give maul damage reduction while he is using his choke

Another bug is Anakin's retribution, you'll activate it but then the moment you activate it, it suddenly cancels on its own, and you're stuck in the animation with no way to cancel it, and you just about get stuck with the ability still 'activated' the whole game, sometimes you can even walk, but it will still say 'cancel' Another one for Anakin is heroic might, I thought they fixed this but I guess not. You still get stuck in the animation after 4 seconds it's been activated, so you just die.

Battlefront 2 for the light saber duel can be a very good light saber game but so many prob -matchmaking is very not good -no 1v1 mode - the glitch/bug is important But if they repair that just that îm ok and i will take lot of fun on this game but is not for now... 2v2 matchmaking 🤮 we wait so many times 4v4 is better but so many Times is rush rush and just that My dream is a mode with just light saber fight 1v1 / 2v2 / without gun and why not with a tournament the week end

Ryan Angkasa what do you mean? Freeze does cancel when you hit the enemy again with your lightsaber. What He is saying is that Frenzy will not work sometimes That being said I’ve seen cases where other lightsaber heros will hit a frozen enemy, and the freeze effect will stay for a reason.
