YES I got 5 KV-1E's undercoated in front of my nose. Just got them yesterday. I love them. Assembly is very very swift :) Good review still was interested in the other kits.

I have one of battlefronts old KV-2 kits and, at first I was pleased with it. Problem was the track fit was off and it popped a chunk off the resin hull which was on top of the track (skirt?). I did a side by side comparison of the Zvezda KV2 and found both to be okay in different ways. Zvezda actually had the rear facing machine gun for example. On a side note all the local shops in my little corner of the NE USA claim the Zvezda KV1 is out of production. Do you know anything about that?

Well, both the KV-1 and KV-2 are still listed on Zvezda's website but I will ask on your behalf and post back here if I hear anything to suggest that your retailers are right. Have a rummage on ebay? :)

modeldads I like supporting my local hobby shops and game stores whenever possible. I suppose it's possible the tanks are "out of production" because the current stupidity between the US and Russia but I've heard nothing about that.
